Never understood why Rimuru didnt kill Hinata, Luminas/Valentine and with this her whole country.
Hinata tried to kill him just because and L/V didnt intercept in her own affairs, twice.
And if Rimuru wasnt the MC and was/became op, she didnt made any moves at all and let I happen.
And what I also dont get why character let themself be beaten by others like Veldora from Luminas instead of breaking her.
Why let an enemy live that had shown its hostility towards you and is with you on good terms now because you have shown your power?
Being an asshole and bullying others shouldnt been rewarded instead it should be punished.
Rimuru is inherently very kind. He believes that others' malice doesn't necessarily need to be met with the same malice, so he seeks understanding and reconciliation. As for why Luminous doesn't interfere, you'll find out later-in Episode 26, it’s explained that all of this is a loop that has happened countless times. Luminous needs to follow the correct course of action and let things happen as they need to. However, that's how the book is written, so we can't change the storyline. But your suggested approach would also be interesting, making it more like Overlord, which would be very satisfying.

When people say kind or nice they actual mean naive.
You see this with his basic rules and the result of them - invasion, slaughter - mimimi.
He actually has seen that this world he is in now is basically a permanent battlefield and only the powers keep things in check, but instead of accommodate to them he does this nonsense.
I assume the Luminas thing you mention has to do something with the upcoming war that the oldest dragon is preparing and that is gathering more and more people to set up his army?
Not that the dragons here are being that you want to be around.
I would have actually liked to see a battle between Shion or Diablo against Hinata and Luminas.
I am reading the manga and looking the anime. The novel is not to my interest. I read enough text walls each day and when i want to read something then I take classic literature.
Overlord is interesting in its own regards but the MC and his peons are annoying.
The MC is stupid as f and everything he does can only be happen because he is OP and of the luck fairy of being MC.
