I love this model. It allows so much creativity. Joisel was a genius, and as such, he was extremely generous in offering such freedomn to common people like us when folding his creation.
I miss him. Even after years, I can't watch one of his short videos without being moved. He should have lived longer. In his short life, he has been the greatest a man can be. God decided He wanted him back, I guess. We are blessed he existed among us.
It's true, he was an incredible origami artist. I miss him, too. He gave us a great legacy of his work to learn. Thank you so much for your generous words. Happy New Year 2020 🎆🎉🐀 Year of the Rat

hace mucho tiempo la hice pero la termine con mucho esfuerzo ya que el papel que utilice fue de un block blanco de 25 por 25 y para los pliegue finales tuve que humedecer y aun así rompí el papel jaja..
por cierto hay alguna posibilidad de mandarte algunas fotografías de algunas de las figuras que he plegado?
Esta figura la suelo plegar con diferentes papeles, y me va bien con papel boon, doble seda, incluso este papel lizard de 90 gramos. Solo hay que echar unas pinceladas de goma dentro de los pliegues de la cola y cerrarla, y darle forma hasta la posicion deseada, tambien cerrarle el pecho, para que no se abra tanto. Si tienes cuenta en instagram podrias etiquetarme tus trabajos y asi los veo. Felíz Año Nuevo 2020 🎆🎉🐀 Year of the Rat

On a one-side colored paper white side up or the colored side ???
The side which you wish to end up outside should be outside at around 1:37. However, it's not a great model for two-colored paper. The only bits of the other side will show through at the back, and also the top-side of the tail -- which opens up due to how many layers it's made up of.

Oye no sabes el creador de un caballo que tiene una parte super complicada casi al final a la hora de hacer el cuello? No lo encuentro en ninguna parte (y eso que un tipo hizo como 50 videos por partes del caballo) pero ahora ni sus luces del caballo :c
Yo la modelé echandole un poco de cola sintétita escolar en la cola y con la humedad le dí forma hasta que seque. Tendrías que decirme el autor del caballo, hay tantos en origami. Será el de H T Quyet?? Muchas gracias por tu comentario. Felíz Año Nuevo 2020 🎆🐀
