    He's a hard worker. 140 to 174 shows so much (comparative) growth. He started from the bottom and made it to the top. Bravo.

    I started at 143 and scored 163 on my practice test yesterday with a 166 blind review. Still have rest of august and September to study! This gives me hope to get over 170!

    Great video! I made a 153 on my first lsat, now I’m motivated to break into (at least) the 160’s. Thanks! :)

    Good encouragement! I was able to get my score up 23 points from the 1st practice test to the 2nd time I took it for real. It can be done with mostly self-studying.

      how long did it take and what was your study schedule like

    • @aalegalfocus
      @aalegalfocus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@randomvideos_658 it was years ago so I can't remember exactly. I think I study total of for a couple of years, from the time I took the first practice test until the second time that I took it. I wasn't on any set schedule because I did it on my own, but there were many weekends when I would take timed practice tests. Good luck!

    I'm actually really worried about taking the diagnostic even ; p
    Afraid I'm gonna get a low score and it'll discourage me.

    • @LifeAsALawStudent
      @LifeAsALawStudent  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't be afraid! As this video shows, the diagnostic test has absolutely no bearing on your potential. It just gives you an idea of what the test is like and how long you might want to plan on studying for it.

      @@LifeAsALawStudent I am ; p !
      It's either Nov or Jan 2021 for me. Was wondering, do you think Jan 2021 will be too long of a time lapse study wise? A few people told me not to lose track of skills and Knowledge between Nov and Jan ( things can get busy with holidays and New year). Just wanted your thoughts regarding being ready for exam day...Thank you

    • @LifeAsALawStudent
      @LifeAsALawStudent  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you haven't even taken the diagnostic yet, which usually comes before you start studying, November is definitely too soon. It can be easy to get distracted over the holidays, but if you stay focused January seems like a better timeline in my opinion.

      Don’t be discouraged! A diagnostic is just a way to measure your growth later- I’m sure you’re going to do amazing!

  • @juliapellicane8382

    My first diagnostic last year was a 140, and I haven’t been studying consistently but my highest was 157. November is quickly approaching and I’m struggling!

    • @LifeAsALawStudent
      @LifeAsALawStudent  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Two months of regular focus, practice, and studying can definitely help improve that score! Just remember that two months now is nothing in the light of the three years of law school and then long career of your dreams after that!
