But when you throw your QB under the bus time and time again AND choke in the biggest games of the season, you're the problem. In this case, Diggs' ego and attitude far outweighed his production in meaningful games. Props to Bills GM Brandon Beane for having the guts to make this decision, many GM's would've waited until it was too late.

Toxic af. I have even more respect for Beane after this decision. Also, I appreciate the good times we had with Diggs - no hard feelings as a member of Bills Mafia (in case Diggs sees this 😂). The fall off already started last year. He'll he good if he can accept a #2 or #3 role, but by November he was the 3rd best pass catcher on the Bills.

They were clearly saying they were letting Diggs get doubled and froze out. Clearly saying, they were using him to open up opportunities for other guys (basically as a decoy). Just to turn around and say his numbers went down. They did it on purpose!

I listened to the gameplan interviews weekly also. Digg's production was being quetioned, so the Bills were saying he was still helping because of the double teams. But KC said they didn't double team him this season. Diggs has an ego. They may have been trying to help him save face. I also heard he was taking himself off the field more. His loss in production may have been caused by scheme, Diggs choice, or Diggs losing a step. We will see next season.

As a coach of a competitive team (not nearly at professional level), sometimes you have to cut out the cancer to save the team, regardless of talent. I'm sad that things deteriorated in his relationship with the team. He will be missed! OK guys I got a pushback on you here. Word is Allan asked for this over a year ago because diva demanding balls all the time didn’t help when Josh felt pressure to throw into double coverage which ended up in a lot of turnovers. And Diggs did drop the ball a number of times when we needed him in the last few games when we finally came back and captured the AFC East again against all odds and then he dropped the ball right in his hands-and you think that’s OK hello That’s what he’s there for to catch a ball like that!

I think Buffalo's bigger problem was the offensive play calling. Id imagine most teams would be doubling Diggs every game so getting him the ball would be an issue regardless in a throw first offense. They showed they could run the ball well vs Dallas but never really mixed it up during the majority of the season to keep defenses guessing to free up the receivers. Either way if i was Diggs id be extremely excited about playing in Houston. That offense is going to be wild next season. As for Buffalo they need to rework their entire offense which might mean new coaching.

They made excuses saying something along the lines of "diggs was just upset at himself that he ran the wrong route." He showed up josh and they covered for him over and over in the media. Shannon may as well had went on the air with the phone on his ear because he was speaking as if someone important had told him what really happened.
