It's gonna be like the school boy. School boy will be school boy even when he's 40. Skinny guy will still be skinny guy even when he's over 100kg. The names just stick
I just placed 2nd in left arm 165lb open division at a local tournament. The dude I lost to was built just like Jordan. I had him beat in a strength but I couldn't take his hand. Wish I would've watched this before hand lol.
i learned this and tried it on my dad, last time arm wrestled him i didn't know a single thing about arm wrestling and i lost badly and now that i tried the toproll on him I mean i still lost but i was actually able to move him
Ryan, great arm-wrestling workout videos. Ryan, do two sets of wrist curls for 20 to 30 reps and do two sets of easy grippers for 500 reps after your done working out at the table. The next day your hand and wrist and forearm will feel strong as ever.
@@overlord3481 super high reps promote blood flow and the metabolic stress provides a signal for nutrients to get deep into your tendons and stuff. Basically it's like oiling the gears. So this person is suggest rehabilitation work, basically, and yes it does work. It's what Devon recommends for injuries and recovering from table practice.
I’m not that tall (Around 6 feet) but it feels more natural for me to toproll with a cup and drag. To me it feels closer to hooking which is what I am good at. Posting and pronating doesn’t work at all for me.
Thats how I won yesterday my first armrestilng match against a brute as a skinny guy 😅☝️ it was so funny since all the girls though that the big guy would win 😂 They didn't expect that I am watching armwrestling for 15 years 🤣
In your old video about low hand Toproll setup, you say to get deep on the setup, and go past as far as possible when in the strap. In Jordan’s video he says to sit back a little and not push the thumb to far forward. Is this just preference in style between you? Which do you prefer now since that video was roughly 9 months ago?
Hes saying that you get better ability to apply force if you go deeper but if your opponents strong inside you're putting him deeper into a hook and might not be able to get your thumbs out
Strap & high hand. Dead wrist immediately. Push him off the pad if he is running away backwards. As always with guys who only have a strong toproll - a good dead wrist press is the end of the story.
@@ryanbluebowen I don't doubt that. I don't doubt he could toproll me in a second without strap. Matter of fact: I'm way stronger without my hand. This is quite exactly where I want to be, where I feel really comfortable and strong. I don't know how to describe....

Honestly, the Reacher has been one of my favourite arm wrestlers since not long after I got into the sport.
How to toproll as a short guy: "be nice and short".
jordan davis is in my top 10 favorite armwrestlers!
Good video.
Short and to the point.
Nice and short
Great video, short and very informative. As a long armed newbie this gave me some things to think about and try out next time, Cheers

on point, i love those short vids stuffed with intel
Love watching your looking videos as well my friend
More videos like this please.
Perhaps a 2nd camera for a top down view that you can edit in as well?
Good luck to you both in 2020 💪
good stuff Ryan, thanks!

*dead as ever.
At least the first few times.
why so many reps tho? wouldn't heavier loads and less reps be better for developing power

Where has Tesch been? He's been MIA since his match.
Supposedly he has a business that has had some issues or something, he's also quite elusive and doesn't like publicity.
Hey I saw some hilarious beef between Jordan and Adam Wilmot. What's the story there?!

What’s better when arm wrestling sitting down across a table? Top roll or the hook? Or does it still depend on other factors?
Depends on opponent strength... If he is way more stronger and you wanna try then go for hook and ending with Toproll
Nice job Reacher!!
Awesome video Ryan, you able to get Jordan's arm measurements?
Haugland vs coach ray?
What's your pick??
Haugland easy
Haugland
What's the difference between the tall guy and short guy method?
What's the difference between "cup, drag, and lean" versus "post, drag, and lean"?
If he's taller you won't be able to lower your hand
Brisbane armwrastlin is world-class
First off Davis
IT IS NOT "BEING NICE AND SHORT".
Secondly....I like your teaching style.
Bowen-You're fired
Huh? Are you ok mate?
Gobby go away

Looking strong Jordan. Any clubs on the gold coast at all?
Is it normal to feel a little pain in the wrist/tendons just below the pinky using this variation?
Strengthen them with different exercises
Question: Do you hook-cup before you do the Toproll? Simultaneously?
What about if you’re a tall guy with really small hands.. My problem.
go to straps
Tall and small hands?
Weird combo
If I ever make it down to Australia I don't care about the Opera House and other typical tourist stuff. Just want to meet the Boys and Blue.
Is low hand toproll still good against a high hook? If not, what adjustments are needed for me to have an advantage?

The Reacher is awesome so skill
how tall is jordan
Make a video with devon
Wtf was that flying elbow toproll in the beginning
How tall is the Reacher? I mean you almost look short beside him :D
Let's get skinny guy vs top roll king for the crown.
Jordan 6:0
@@TimmyTurner421 Ryan Bowen pulled both, so he would know.
