* Oh my goodness, I can totally relate, we’re stuck in a major mess!! No way of getting out and no one to help us out. No one to blame except myself. But I am so, so glad you guys went to help them out, and that cute baby! So adorable!
I love how she says storage doesn't have to be expensive, and then immediately brings in a storage trailer at about 3 times the price of a storage unit.
I feel so bad after they cut the lemon. At least they can replant somewhere around the area. It’s a big place . You can use lemon for so many things like lemonade,on your salad, for baking or cooking seafood, etc etc. Especially, if your get sick like cold . You can add in Luke warm water, honey, lemon , ginger. It’s a good medicine 👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀
When he said the tree took to much space, it's hard to see that even in out doors we think there are not their natural plase, it could be going arraund the lemon tree, that area its for plants and trees, specially for fruit trees, good for oxigen and birds
+Legend Length Yes -- you are quite right -- a small window would not work in that spot! I wonder if they could have added a very thin planter and trellis on the outside wall to disguise that "empty" spot on the wall? Just a thought! Cheers!
the dog is sooo cute. He/she just been there looking at and playing around those men working lol Def he/she needs a good bath afterwards. and also, they miss the calculation price part for the spending on hiring people to do all the job.
First of all, I would like to tell you that I love your shows. There are lots of great ideas that I can use to improve my home. But,for your information, Buddha's head is not a and the decorative item (21:25). Thank you for producing such great shows.
I think they did transplant it didn't they? Because Jason said "We took a citrus out, so we put another one back in" and it was a fairly large tree that they "put back in".
That stone path in the front looks nice, but i didn't see them use any weed fabric or paver edgers. And you can see that the bricks shifted when the real estate lady walked along it which means they didn't use a joining sand either. I know they don't want to spend a lot of money to spruce up the house, but sadly it likely won't stay nice in the long run, shame. And good god, did they seriously end it in the middle of the yard?
You'd be surprised how well it's done. When I've seen houses pop up for sale on my street, the first thing I notice is a new exterior paint job if I don't notice an interior renovation.
They are all DIY jobs. But getting it done in a couple of days takes multiple people. You can do it on your own easily over a longer time period, therefore DIY.
looks great to sell, but that landscaping as a buyer just shouts high maintenance. No edging means the lawn will just take over everything, trees at the front will grow way too big.
The trouble with many of these makeovers is that they look bright and good enough right after they are finished but a few months down the track ... it's all goes to pot again.
Why not install a window where the a/c was. It would have been less work, gives natural light to the interior and could potentially be used if someone does want to reinstall an A/C.
Thats a beautiful home. I would have left the lemon tree. The shed has to go..yup thats it....the fence do it over. I mean you cant do everything at once..but slowly.
Hey guys, do you fellas have episodes on sale or on disc or internet access? I'm looking to get a few eps to be more home/tradie savvy for the family? Thanks! Loved the small tech ideas on the front lawn!
I love this trio ❤️ They have so much positive energy 🤩 PS : I dont think the family sold this house after the renovation, this house is now a keeper 😀
They ruind the whole thing by cutting the lemon tree.. just cuz its in the way.. You can either change the way..or replant the tree.. it has a life.. you just killed it😢
So it really isn't that cheap about $10,000 for the renovation. When they took out the window air-conditioning I noticed they had installed a ducted system which would of cost approximately $10,000
About the walkway to the front door: why on earth would anyone build it to begin IN THE LAWN? Towards the end of the video, when a family is shown walking towards the house, they are clearly walking on several feet of grass to the walkway which abruptly begins from the grass. It doesn't connect to the driveway or a sidewalk or street. It makes no sense.22:55, 23:10, 23:41, 25:49. 23:51 shows real estate agent's muddy shoes from having to walk across wet grass ... greaaaat. DIY: not many homeowners are able to handle a jackhammer and especially for the length of time it took to demo that concrete ramp. Not many homeowners are able to "patch" that huge hole in the wall left by removing the AC.
Why do they always take the front screen door off? Some people (including me) figure that if there's already one there, then they don;t have to get another installed. The door isn't even that good looking? Why take the screen door off?
I love these shows, but I wish that Jason and company would be more focused on reusing resources. They're finite, after all. For instance, don't just pitch those steel handrails. Somebody somewhere could reuse them. And why cut down a perfectly good lemon tree. Just transplant it to another location.
Why do so many renovation shows - have to hide "kids rooms" and change to "guest rooms" when many young families are the ones buying. Yes declutter toys. Also with taking out original entranceway - which was wheelchair accessible to making it not accessible ....this is a move in the wrong direction...more people with disabilities are a fact of life...as well as accessible to strollers etc.
Why not leave it wheelchair accessible and just plant some trees or bushes in front of the rail? ...and you get rid of a perfectly good shed.. Ugh, I can't EVEN!
+FoolyLiving my mom has lived in the same house for over 30 years and never, not even once, has a wheelchair been inside. Not everyone needs wheelchair accomodations.
+Norell A. Winburn OK, so let the new owners rip it out. How stupid are they going to feel if the new owners rip up the new deck to put in a ramp for a grandmother in a wheel chair? LOL LOL
Gary Verderamo If the new owners need a ramp, they can make the decision. There are millions of homes who never have a wheelchair inside. They are selling their home, a nice deck gives it more value than an ugly ramp.
+FoolyLiving I'm more offended by the plastic looking walkway they replaced the ramp with. Especially as it just kind of terminates like a foot from the driveway unless you go diagonally.
i live in England in a 4 bedroom-semi, my mum payed 168,000 for it. I'm 14 and this house seems ridiculously expensive for what it is. also live the Demi Lovato song in the background there
Removing a lemon tree is horrible. 😐 Also, you use that ugly grey paint in every backyard. It's like you got a deal on it and bought a warehouse full of the same horrible dark grey. Terrible design choice.
If they absolutely had to remove the tree instead of replanting it in the corner of the garden they could advertised it for sale. Someone would've bought one that large and established, thus getting some money back. Or at least donate to a school or someone who would appreciate it.
* Oh my goodness, I can totally relate, we’re stuck in a major mess!! No way of getting out and no one to help us out. No one to blame except myself. But I am so, so glad you guys went to help them out, and that cute baby! So adorable!
That lemon tree was so pretty
26:26 the kid just kills the plant 😂
Wish I had a team like this to help with my new house. Haha
I love how she says storage doesn't have to be expensive, and then immediately brings in a storage trailer at about 3 times the price of a storage unit.
😂 as if time is free
How much is a storage unite?
@@aloevera7422 - who said it was free.

26:27 lmao the baby ran over the plant and they edited it out
Haha, yes, you can see the plant before and after looking all ruffled out
When he said the tree took to much space, it's hard to see that even in out doors we think there are not their natural plase, it could be going arraund the lemon tree, that area its for plants and trees, specially for fruit trees, good for oxigen and birds
There is NOTHING like having a strong, handy, hardworking, kind husband. ❤
In the A/C spot in the wall -- why not add a window in that spot? Excellent ideas! Really -- we need you all here! :)
+Legend Length Yes -- you are quite right -- a small window would not work in that spot! I wonder if they could have added a very thin planter and trellis on the outside wall to disguise that "empty" spot on the wall? Just a thought! Cheers!
+teacatz3 I agree. It's Australia. It is hot. You just sealed up a hole and now where do the new owners put their air conditioner? LOL
well they drill small hole for wires and put on some smaller and modern AC in better place then was old
I love the way the guy says .... ‘easy done’ ..... 😂😂😂 I love the dog : is he the director of works ?? 😻😻😻 and awesome transformations
Nice upgrade! But why didn't they change the blinds in the former kids room also?
What an amazing trasformation! I want you guys, to renovate my home!!
the dog is sooo cute. He/she just been there looking at and playing around those men working lol Def he/she needs a good bath afterwards.
and also, they miss the calculation price part for the spending on hiring people to do all the job.
+chavella minerva I think the show pays for that so it wasn't included for their profit, though in reality it would be.
You have beautiful ideas
It’s great that they do this stuff
Great work and minimal money for maximum result, thanks for all the great tips!
the dog is like what are you doing to my backyard
wow !! fantastiquice transformation, amazing work congratulations all S2

I WOULD BUY THIS HOUSE!
i love better homes and gardens
Transplant the tree, definitely keep the shed.
Now it looks so good I wouldn't sell it! lol
asdftommihjkl you could sell it and buy a bigger house... but you'd have to do it up again 😂
Beautiful gardens watching from Hong Kong
Why not just transplant the tree somewhere else instead of cutting it down.
agreed poor lemon tree it was so beautiful
RIP lemon tree
yousif vaz that's what I thought

It seems like the DIY solution is to simply paint everything.
paint me like one of your thai prostitutes
And replace all of your furniture
You'd be surprised how well it's done. When I've seen houses pop up for sale on my street, the first thing I notice is a new exterior paint job if I don't notice an interior renovation.
A de-clutter and a lick of paint makes a world of difference to the buyer's eye 👍
Why did you cut the tree?! Just transplant it elsewhere if it was that much of a problem where it was.
i was thinking the same, but to cut it our such big tree is not a joke, very expensive and there is possibilities that it will not survive
paint, paint, paint, paint, paint! lots of paint!
love your work
Unless you're a contractor, it's unrealistic to think you can do all these upgrades yourself. I mean; come on, there's a brick mason there.
They hired him, just like they hired the roof painters.
Jason ..you could transplant the lemon tree to the front garden instead of throw it away!!!
It is not DIY if there is an entire crew of professionals doing the work.
They didn’t say it was
@@haydenevetts9463 they did in the description
I can't believe they took air conditioner out patched out and inner wall AND ADDED NO INSULATION!
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO EASY TO ADD!!!!
By 'here' they may have meant they may find DIY on other videos on there channel?
They are all DIY jobs. But getting it done in a couple of days takes multiple people. You can do it on your own easily over a longer time period, therefore DIY.
A beautiful house
Love it!
Am in need of a landscape gardener on the Mornington Peninsula! Any referrals would be great!
:28 :) love that car i have same one push daughter around in it for hours cause shes to young to know how to move it herself with her feet :)
i stopped watching after he cut the lemon tree

yap, why must be cut the lemon tree,😭
I 💘 the house!! looks better!! I want to buy it!! would like to buy it love it!!!!👍💚🏡😍😁😊
I love how the kid is about to ruin the shot in 26:27 and they cut away 2-3 frames before
Lol l cracked up

Jason is so funny
How is this DIY? A crew of construction workers tearing out concrete, pulling out sheds, putting in new turf...there's very little here you can DIY.
+Michele Paccione I think it's meant to give you ideas for your own DIY, not to show a video of someone doing DIY.
We've DIY-ed everything they've done here. Put your back into it woman!
I love you 💕
I love this trio ❤️
They have so much positive energy 🤩
PS : I dont think the family sold this house after the renovation, this house is now a keeper 😀
Hi, you guys have a great job amazing reno i love it... are you guys available in Hobart area for reno my house exterior and interior ?
😄 And then send them up to George Town for me!
"says its all about an impressive entrance" then at 23:50 when that paver moves as the real estate agent walks over it ...cringe
does anyone know what color they use on the fence?
A dark grey. Colour names change by manufacturer, and from year to year.
Only thing I’d change would be the color of the outside brick.
They ruind the whole thing by cutting the lemon tree.. just cuz its in the way..
You can either change the way..or replant the tree.. it has a life.. you just killed it😢
Exactly my thoughts! Why no replant?
you spittin fax rn g
True.....ii feel bad for that fruit giving lemon tree😭😭😭
Battleaxe at the back.....that"s crude!
.Looks so much better without that eyesore of air conditioner.
good
why are they moving now ?
RIP Lemon Tree

Zymon B. Greetings to the new one.
Love everything you did but all the plants seems like a lot to maintain.
cool..
So it really isn't that cheap about $10,000 for the renovation. When they took out the window air-conditioning I noticed they had installed a ducted system which would of cost approximately $10,000
And they got an extra $67,000. I'd say a 670% return is better than any other investment you'll ever find!
Had a wheelchair accessible entrance and then BOOM
But what if a developer buys this property and all that work got waisted unfortunately this becomes more and often
The developer still paid $67500 above previous market price, so still a bonus.
And who can develop a plot that's already been subdivided?
No aircon?
Complaining there is no storage yet get rid of the shed?

Thats alot of plants... do you need to water them
A garden like that in most parts of Australia would require reticulation. Installation and running costs would be massive.
Estimate: $500,000. Sold for $567,500. Cost of renovations from the show: Approx. $10,000. Approx. $50,000 profit. Meh.
Can you please come to cairns and help me prepare my house for sale? Please😀

The bad thing when your house is getting a beutifull renovation and you are selling it is its to beutifull to sell
Hi Good
500,000 for that house?
This was back when houses were much cheaper
MrIncredible This was only in 2015??? Long time ago?
Emeecheese actually this was uploaded in 2015 but the actual episode was made before
I saw this in like 2012
Never mind
Was a different house
But still this is an area that isn't too expensive unlike Strathfield or Lidcombe
Rollo Larson I agree
Here in Aussie for an uglier house than this (this house is in Aussie) is 1.7 mil in strathfield
The game has played played
Let me see if I understand this. They ran out of money for renovations on the bathroom, yet they had $10,000 for these renovations? LOL LOL LOL
Gary Verderamo these videos are sponsored by Bunnings..
They use sponsors for much of the materials and get a short term loan to cover other costs between the makeover and the sale 👍

The outside is amazing. The kitchen and bathroom are nice, but the other rooms with that dirty drab carpet are very unappealing.
House seems overdecorated for a sale house. Seems perfect to remain there. I would stay but I’m sure they want to get a larger home.
Love this show but more originalities please.Just get rid of everything and produced a lot of construction wastes.
i wouldve raised all hell if they cut down my lemon tree.
Plot twist :
They decide not to sell the house because they like the new outcome
Why couldn’t you put a new ac it the lounge room
This is a project that would take months for someone on their own who has a job! This is a joke ! Quick and simple my arse!
