    I love how she says storage doesn't have to be expensive, and then immediately brings in a storage trailer at about 3 times the price of a storage unit.

    I feel so bad after they cut the lemon. At least they can replant somewhere around the area. It’s a big place . You can use lemon for so many things like lemonade,on your salad, for baking or cooking seafood, etc etc. Especially, if your get sick like cold . You can add in Luke warm water, honey, lemon , ginger. It’s a good medicine 👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀

    When he said the tree took to much space, it's hard to see that even in out doors we think there are not their natural plase, it could be going arraund the lemon tree, that area its for plants and trees, specially for fruit trees,good for oxigen and birds

    That stone path in the front looks nice, but i didn't see them use any weed fabric or paver edgers. And you can see that the bricks shifted when the real estate lady walked along it which means they didn't use a joining sand either. I know they don't want to spend a lot of money to spruce up the house, but sadly it likely won't stay nice in the long run, shame. And good god, did they seriously end it in the middle of the yard?

      i was thinking the same, but to cut it our such big tree is not a joke, very expensive and there is possibilities that it will not survive

    In the A/C spot in the wall -- why not add a window in that spot? Excellent ideas! Really -- we need you all here! :)

      +Legend Length Yes -- you are quite right -- a small window would not work in that spot! I wonder if they could have added a very thin planter and trellis on the outside wall to disguise that "empty" spot on the wall? Just a thought! Cheers!

    Unless you're a contractor, it's unrealistic to think you can do all these upgrades yourself. I mean; come on, there's a brick mason there.

    looks great to sell, but that landscaping as a buyer just shouts high maintenance. No edging means the lawn will just take over everything, trees at the front will grow way too big.

      I think they did transplant it didn't they? Because Jason said "We took a citrus out, so we put another one back in" and it was a fairly large tree that they "put back in".

      You'd be surprised how well it's done. When I've seen houses pop up for sale on my street, the first thing I notice is a new exterior paint job if I don't notice an interior renovation.

    Why not install a window where the a/c was. It would have been less work, gives natural light to the interior and could potentially be used if someone does want to reinstall an A/C.

      They are all DIY jobs. But getting it done in a couple of days takes multiple people. You can do it on your own easily over a longer time period, therefore DIY.

    How is this DIY? A crew of construction workers tearing out concrete, pulling out sheds, putting in new turf...there's very little here you can DIY.

    Thats a beautiful home. I would have left the lemon tree. The shed has to go..yup thats it....the fence do it over. I mean you cant do everything at once..but slowly.

    The trouble with many of these makeovers is that they look bright and good enough right after they are finished but a few months down the track ... it's all goes to pot again.

    Why do they always take the front screen door off? Some people (including me) figure that if there's already one there, then they don;t have to get another installed. The door isn't even that good looking? Why take the screen door off?

    So it really isn't that cheap about $10,000 for the renovation. When they took out the window air-conditioning I noticed they had installed a ducted system which would of cost approximately $10,000

      Oh the access ramp... My thinking is MAKE IT A SELLING POINT! Don´t take it out! Just make it less ugly... There is a huge group of buyers that would love that ramp. If you are not in a wheelchair yourself (yet), you might have a relative or a friend that is.

    I love these shows, but I wish that Jason and company would be more focused on reusing resources. They're finite, after all. For instance, don't just pitch those steel handrails. Somebody somewhere could reuse them. And why cut down a perfectly good lemon tree. Just transplant it to another location.

      A garden like that in most parts of Australia would require reticulation. Installation and running costs would be massive.
