    Can you guys get an assistant, instead of the dummy stand? It would help make your videos a lot more dynamic and attractive to watch the interaction between two presenters, or a presenter and an assistant.
    P.s I want to say thanks for posting this video about rebounds. I am not sure if this video was in response to me emailing you about my students preparing for a basketball comp and struggling with rebounds. If it was, I want to say thanks again, you guys are inspirational and it's great to watch your success grow.

      I second this.

    • @mrcook9721
      @mrcook9721 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe they can even invite some of their students to participate in their video tutorials, that would be cool.

    • @lianamarsters309
      @lianamarsters309 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes people don't like to be in a video as a dummy!!!
      At least he has a 'dummy', he easily could've said, just imagine someone's there!!!!!
      Not hating, just saying!

    • @mrcook9721
      @mrcook9721 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Liana Marsters I think if someone was given the opportunity to be Alex's assistant they would be professional and make this channel's videos even better. I think that's my point, by having someone co-present or act as an assistant it would make the videos better and more entertaining to watch, just like I said above.
      It's not like an assistant would just stand there, if they did, then that would be redundant and certainly would make them a dummy. Basketball is all about movement and the interaction between players, surely tutorial videos should also have this dynamic.

    • @lianamarsters309
      @lianamarsters309 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dean, i agree!
      Basketball is all about movement, and interaction between players.
      But if coach decides to use this 'dummy' then okay, it's his call!

  • @hawk7715
    @hawk7715 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is kinda off topic but when I’m driving to the rim I keep getting the ball stolen. For example when I’m attacking with the ball in my right hand and my defender is on my left another defender just comes in from my right side and steals it. Can you pls reply because this is my biggest problem

    Hey coach , does it help to use ballhog gloves or a plastic bag while doing fusion handles or will it hurt my gains?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a time to use sensory deprivation training and you can use it for some of your training but it should not be used all the time.

    Coach does weight affect my jumping abilities?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does... it will most likely impact your 1 foot jump more than your 2 foot jump. Try to lower your body fat percentage while gaining functional muscle strength.

  • @lianamarsters309
    @lianamarsters309 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks, coach...
    but, if i tried to feel where the offense/defense is coming from, i'd be fouled, that's how they play it!
    I can get in front of them, and stop them but, doing a 'cheap shot' might not be the best thing i should do!
    When i'm playing and i get a rebound, i jump, honestly... i jump and grab the ball with two hands!!! thanks for the tips!
