What do you think about United’s interest in Jobe Bellingham and Liam Delap? Are these the kind of future-focused signings we need, or should we prioritize more experienced players? Let me know your thoughts below!
I don't care about Gyokeres or his experience. He's had just one world class season under just Amorim in a portuguese league which is a step down from the premier league. I won't really bet my money on Gyokeres to deliver for us
I've rated Jobe for a while now. I really think he's improved his game this season, and has become a more dynamic midfielder. However, I don't think the 20mil asking price is a fair one. I have a feeling that it's inflated due to his last name. We need to sign starters, and I just don't think he's quite at that level where he can comfortably play as a starter. He's a great prospect, but considering our circumstances, I just don't think he'd be first on our priority list. We need to sort out all the other positions first. As for Delap, great player, but very young. We need experienced strikers.
But having watched Delap he is far better than poundland and zirkzee depending on the fee those 2 cost north of 100 million crazy you look at hoslund his holding of the ball up and 1st touch is just has bad as the day he walked in he needs to be moved on SAP
Good points, mate. Jobe's shown promise, but £20m does feel steep and more about his name. We need starters right now, and I agree Delap’s talent is there, but experience up front is key.
Rashford clearly a bad apple behind the scenes and has been buried by the club that prioritise financial gain over performance. If he didn’t sell shirts and sponsorship he would have been gone along time ago
MUFC something needs to be done do cut costs, facts it's a business, I've ran a business, every penny counts, tough unpopular decisions have to be made. Don't assume Ineos take decisions lightly, if something isn't done its possible MUFC could be insolvent, or go into administration.
Fair point, mate. Tough decisions are necessary to keep the club stable, but it does feel wrong when multi-billionaires are cutting funds to charities. Let’s hope they find a better balance.
You can take Rashford out of Wythenshawe but you cant take the Wythenshawe out of Rashford...300k a week would turn anyone's head...he has fell out of love with the game and just looks at his bank balance every day
Fair point, mate. It’s hard not to wonder if the massive wages have shifted his priorities. That said, I think the pressure and spotlight on him might have also played a role in his struggles.
Sorry for the late reply, I ran out of salt. Belignham= British media distraction, stay away. Tomiri is a decent homegrown CB, I've been throwing his name into the hat for a few years. Plus, we will need a center back, he's born in Canada so I may be biased. But 6'1 left sided CB, who can play a few positions, and is fast. I'd love him at United. As for Marcus, he ruined Alex Telles. And that's when I realized he didn't have a football brain. I'll dive deeper if you want, but Telles was class, trust me. Turns out I was right 😂. Thanks for the honest insight, starting to look forward to the notification bell. Oh and on Victor, INEOS said no more 50mil + signings, plus I don't like the loan/contract thing. He's compared to Mbappe, with Rashford numbers. We need some leadership if we're signing an older player, and not sure if he's a role model for the younger players. JMO
Appreciate the detailed take, mate! Totally agree on Tomori-he’d be a solid addition, and his versatility is a big plus, just a shame it is not from the best source. As for Marcus, interesting point about Telles, never thought of it that way. And yeah, Victor’s situation is tricky-leadership is key if we’re spending big. Always enjoy hearing your thoughts, keep them coming!

You can do both at thé same Time… but you need experienced players in the team you can’t put à 20y team in Premier League
Delap would add some physicality to the forward line
Yeah I agree mate
Delap is a decent option but would go for gyokeres personally as he is more experienced

Fair shout mate

Ineos binning our own charity is a disgrace and they have no sympathy for getting in to bed with the glazers
Fair point mate
Rashford, saw Andy Mitten comment, doesn't surprise me, personally I don't want him near the squad, Ineos must offload him, whatever the cost
He is not worth all the hype and hassle
Glazers sweeping his behaviour under the carpet because he sells shirts! Get him gone
@CMG-2166 I think I that's a big reason the Rashford issue hasn't been dealt with before
Loan to buy deals or let in some youth squad players .
Yeah good shout mate

Rashford is so annoying now! Just get rid so we can all move on. Never been that good of a player apart from 1 season.
Fair point mate

Delap is old news, David Orstien reported it over a month ago, personally I'd rather sign a player who has proven premier league experience
Delap would add physicality upfront which we lack and as for Rashford! Can’t wait to be rid of him
I agree mate
