If you notice that in verse 1 jungkook said "never let go" 11× representing BTS 11 anniversary...
And Jungkook said on weverse the " never let go" repeated chorus part is long because he actually tailored that part for a house dance performance. Buy he didn't had enough time to record the performance before goung to military. He was taking house dance lessons back in 2022. It'd have been amazing to see the performance as well but still it's so good.
According to Korean media, JK co-wrote and co-produced the song. He is also credited for vocal production and arrangement and background vocals.
The production and rhythm of the song is very interesting. Please read JK's latest Weverse post. He explains the repetition of "Go". The song was made with a performance video in mind and is intentional. He wanted to record a choreo performance MV but ran out of time.
A Korean article explained it well: “Jungkook composed a dance song in the tropical house genre for the first time. He went further and attracted attention by eliminating the repetitive accompaniment section, which is a representative feature of house.

Im new ARMY (started OCt 2023 really😅) after discovering JK's Seven and 3D and happily enjoyed his lives and concert before enlisting. I love his voice and his love for ARMY (enjoyed his lives even when I didn't understood 😅) and after diving more into BTS content I have seen the love he has for ARMY is just incredible 💜

This song is a whole bop!!! The way he feels about us is exactly the same way we feel about him and i hope he knows that. Jungkook wrote Never Let Go and did the production, vocal arrangement and background vocals by himself as gift for us all while recording 11 brand new songs for Golden, shooting 5 MVs and having multiple stages in 4 different countries in a time span of 5 months. I am super proud of him.

It's a warm hug. You should look at it within the context of it being a letter, because it is released for FESTA. The lyrics, the musical arrangement, the crease on the poster... All of it is a sweet mesage for Army.

Well you mustn’t watch much content then because they all love army and not one of them more than the others. Another member recently released 2 songs for army of which 1 is not available to chart & the other had no prerelease, playlisting or advertisement. If that doesn’t prove it was purely a gift for army from his heart I don’t know what does.

I love this song so much! It's a great song to workout, it makes it more enjoyable. After I injured my hips and had trouble walking, I felt really down. But then I watched JK's last W-lives and read his messages to the Army about staying healthy and happy until we meet again. It motivated me to focus on my health so that I can travel to Korea when he comes back and celebrate with the Army^^
I think this song doesn’t even need to have remix or DJ in club to hype it up. It’s already done and every time listening to it it gets better and better.❤

Very disappointed with this song. Especially for festa. Kook is more talented than this. Definitely pushed and rushed by the company. The repetition reminds me of the children’s song baby shark but not as good. I hope when he returns from ms he has matured enough to lose the Beiber agenda it’s just not working & is embarrassing. He’s the only member without his own color in ch2 & it’s a shame. Let’s hope scooter stays away & leaves kook to his own talents
to me i like some parts of the song but other parts seem a little messy. it was like the song was heading somewhere but was just never fulfilled only added a tons og never let go. idk i think the song was made in a hurry
He explained on Weverse it was intentional as he wanted to do a dance with it, but didn't had time in his schedule to do it before starting his service. It was well planned but time escaped him, he asked for ARMY to forgive and understand him (like he felt guilty. Which he shouldn't imo as is a gift for us)

Korea along w/variety shows in SKorea, except for Fallon in US, which was also prerecorded. JK chose all live performances and was first K-pop artist requested by BBC and 2nd artist to perform at TSX. Jimin chose high fashion, JK Calvin Klein. JK first member to reach -billion streams. JK explored diverse genres on album. Jimin did not. Korean Idols covering JKs English songs since album debut. Jimin, not so much. So that ALWAYS copying Jimin because of 3 words is beyond ridiculous.
