I honestly see very few actual dance steps in these routines. It seems to be all skipping, prancing and high kicking across the stage. They don’t fit in with the music, with no difference between a jig, reel, hornpipe etc. it seems they just batter and hop around regardless of the particular dance without keeping in time with the music. Not much tradition or authenticity in these styles........have to say that the boys are slightly better with their styles.
If you're expecting anything to look like it did pre-Riverdance, you're inevitably going to be disappointed. For better or worse, that's not the style anymore.
Ok Ms. Karen.. you know nothing about Irish dance what so ever. I’ve seen you comment on multiple of these videos, and what you say is ridiculous. This isn’t traditional little Irish step dancing. Get a grip lady

I hate to say it but you’re right. They’re still very good but no where near the level as clrg world champions. :(
Yeah I really hate hating on other irish dancers but they look like they haven’t got to much energy
I recently went to the CLRG worlds and I have to agree, none of them would stand a chance
