Awesome tripod Steve, you always present your subscribers top quality content that just makes me want to spend my money on these wonderful products. You definitely know what you are looking for which is why I trust your opinions on products that you review. Keep up the good work Steve. 👍🏽
Good review! My favorite as well. I've been using one since it was first released. It hits the sweet spot of weight/stability/features. I love the F38 system. Worth the price to me.
Great review of the Alzi Coleman Zero tripod. I'm really impressed with the quality and features of this tripod. It's definitely a great option for outdoor filmmakers Sir
That's wild! I have the aluminum model, which is probably heftier, but still fits in the top box on my motorcycle - which is what I got it for. Ulanzi really does make great, affordable stuff. Based on your video, I checked - and my cheaper tripod has pop-off rubber feet, which when removed reveals pegs! BONUS! Thanks, man!
I use a carbon fiber monopod and my walking poles to make the tripod. Put the monopod through the straps of both poles and twist. Saves weight on long distances hikes 👍
Big fan of Ulanzi products. This tripod was released after the Peak Design Carbon tripod, which this Ulanzi tripod is based on. This Ulanzi version is under half the price of the Peak Design tripod, which unfortunately I bought 1st ☹️. If I could turn back the clock I’d buy this Ulanzi tripod and skip the more expensive Peak Design version. Great video and thanks 👍 - Buy Ulanzi.
It's not an exact copy, but as soon as I saw the bag, I knew that it was going to be... let's say... **heavily** inspired by Peak Design's travel tripod
You are probably not going to read this but I just wanna say i love your videos im pretty young and dont camp so i'm not your target audience but i just wanna say i feel like having multiple channels doing different things is slowing down your progress youtube/subscriber wise I have been watching for about a month or two and have seen about 15-20 videos and only found out about this channel today even though i like the content i just didnt know it existed not trying to come off mean or anything just thought id come with some input
Thanks for the comment. I actually have 3 channels in total 😜. But the main one is my priority and it’s growing faster now than it ever has. Currently the main channel is growing 14x faster than it was this time last year. 🙂 I have an editor for these videos on this channel so they don’t eat into my time.
At the 2:03 mark of the video there's a pop up window that says there is an area Swiss version of the tripod and if you look in the info section under the video he even provides a link to an area Swiss version.
I think it’s about half price from the hugely overpriced peak design but still very expensive for me. Neewer makes a copy of this tripod called the Lt32 and it’s slightly more affordable.
Do you think sometimes it might be a positive change for content creators to say “my most beloved” “my most used” rather than “the best” in content titles and thumbnails? I don’t mean that as a confrontational question, just something that I think of every time a TH-camr says “the best” in content titles when chances are they haven’t tried every thing on the market, and they really mean it’s the best they’ve tried (or the best that they’ve been sent, in some cases- not your case) - and the phrases loses its meaning. Dunno. It won’t exactly reduce the constant onslaught of “the best” or “the only” barrage of content we’re flooded with, but surely we all feel fatigued from the traditional content hyping phrasing and can have a more measured way of talking to each other nowadays 🤔 I’m a big fan btw this is meant only as a thought that keeps occurring
I’ve thought about this myself. I think the reason that “the best” works so well is because that’s what people search for when trying to find a new product. But it is a meaningless word without context which is why I then tried to personalise the video to explain what it’s the best for. I’d argue though you don’t have to try every product to make that call though as often you can tell from just the specs if it’s what you are after. Example when I was researching to buy this tripod I ruled out several that were too heavy or too short just from looking at specs. But I might experiment with the titles.
@@stevestechemporium I think you’re right about search phrases. I hadn’t taken that into account, as I’m a subscriber and aren’t finding the video via search . That weakens my logic substantially 😃 good point, well made 🍻
I LOVE this tripod. My most used by far.

And half the price of the Peak Design one that’s it’s closest competitor

With those clip-fasteners on the legs, I am always worried that at one point they loosen and the legs will slide in. Is it possible to adjust them?

Yeah it’s very similar. But half the price

It’s heavier, more expensive, and just plane worse tripod when compared to the Slik Pro Carbon Fiber 600 series tripods.

The best? Without comparing to any other tripod.
Sorry but its the exact same as the Peak Design that I have, this isnt anything special, quite dissapointing
It’s half the price
