I know! This really runs very smoothly and I absolutely love the characterizations of the villagers in cutscenes and dialogue. I'll definitely play this come release. ☺
The world finally doesn't look empty and dead. Might actually be a good Harvest Moon title since the real HM died.
I'm really excited with the amount of villagers that we saw! I'm going to assume there's plenty of wildlife as well.
Well unfortunately.. the world is massive but very empty.. I would rather have a smaller map but more detailed.
I love cozy game like this.. I hope this game will be the redemption of harvestmoon game.. Btw I hope you get 2k soon.. love your content

I'm happy. I finally got my copy of story of seasons awl. Sadly I don't have the pre-order extras but I got a 10 dollar discount and an extra 10 dollars for my 2 week wait.

I'm currently replaying Friends of Mineral Town, I had no idea they're having a new game
They're releasing small info for their new game next year too! This one is out now tho. I highly recommend it 🤗

I've heard they've been listening to the community a lot over the past few years, so this is what has come from that engagement and I couldn't be happier as well. :)

I can definitely see that. It's definitely more than what I thought it'd be!
It seems like maybe each area or 'town' is a different season or climate and you can choose to put your house at any of them (but only one at a time) then as you progress and start building bridges (most likely through friendships and events) you'll be able to access those fields even if your home is in a different town far easier letting you grow that towns crops all year around. The only thing I wish these titles would do would add a bit more...character design to the less important towns people. You can TELL who's a random NPC like a romancables mom or just a filler NPC.
I love the landscapes, the crops and the animals, the open world is mesmerizing and I AM excited for it... But I am just so stuck on the faces...Like you said they do look the same, though the facial expressions are nice... That was some of the charm of some older harvest moon games, the characters were so whacky but cute (Gustafa!? ) I've noticed it in a lot of the newer games, especially with story of seasons outputs. It feels like character nerfs a bit? TT n TT
I definitely understand what you mean! I am surprised at these facial expressions because they actually move, so I am looking forward to seeing how that reflects each of them individually! I think the appearance of the game (open world) and how much variety there seems to be is very promising! :) I look forward to its release.

5 villages and 10 canidates? Id rather have 1 full and lively town.
Okay, well the game looks really good, esp compared to their previous titles. But the character models and some of the animations remind me of My Time at Portia. Kinda potato-like, but still charming lol.
Also I saw that horse drifting around! 😂

Haha! Potato-like. I actually really like them, or at least it's better than I expected so I can appreciate that :) So far the optimization looks good, and that's really important. I also love love the facial expressions and how they move. And yes I'd love to do a review of this game! :)

It's weird being somewhat excited for a harvest moon game again lol. It looks like a huge improvement and I glad they pushed off the releases date
