Many ticks on his body . We try to remove all of ticks on Tony body and get him to hospital .
We are very so sad when we saw this problem on Tony .

Yes one injection of ivomectin, ticks are dead instead of watching a dog practically hyperventilating through heat and stress, if they cooled the poor dog down, they would also the ticks better and the dog would be less stressed
It is absolute rubbish they can’t get all the ticks out themselves so why don’t you spray and bath dogs and give it relief num nuts
Injections for prevention can cause effect on dogs liver and most of the flea shampoos doesn't work on all types of fleas or work at all. Sprays if licked can cause prolonged illness in dogs. There is no 100% prevention to fleas they keep coming u just have to take Care of ur pet in best n natural ways as possible. Saying is easy. Only pet owners know the real struggle. I examine my pet everyday and make sure he is clean .

Use a tick and flea proction treatment monthly. Also there is a shampoo to use.on the body you need a medal comb. He is a big dog and you might miss some ticks or break off one . That could cause an infection. Good luck. Watch tall grass where he might wander. Ticks are in tall grass area.

The best thing is the bravecto its like dry dog food and will kill everything in 8 hours all are dead

I was looking for a video exactly on Golden Retrievers. I didn't know my pup's hair and skin needed these detailed revisions. We found 3 smalls ticks so far, dried but well attached. They look like a normal mole spot. I am so anxious I want to shave my dog because doing it with this care takes time, patience AND breaks for your neck lol.
Belíssimo esse cachorro. Eu não acredito que ele more na rua. E muito manhoso. Ave Maria se ele não tiver um lar e se eu morasse perto dele j tinha adotado ele. O cachorro é fantástico. Pelo amor de Deus gente adote o.

The best way to get rid of all those ticks is topical medication. They'd all be dead within an hour or two. Of course, the very BEST way would be to apply topical medication every month. He would never again get infested with those bothersome ticks. Or fleas. Or mosquitoes. Beautiful animal. Beautiful coat. There's nothing like a Golden. They're just an all-around great dog!
What are the name of some of these Tropical Medications called so I can get some for my dog, even though my dog doesn't stay outside all day everyday like some dogs are . I had her on a Veterinarys prescribed some that are So expensive. I am on a vey fixed income and I can't afford a$200. Per script every 3 months, she is 8 & 1/2 years old, any suggestions ?
Those ticks are very engorged, and have been on the dog a while. You need to check him more regularly, and hopefully put him on a tick medication.
