The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is one of my favorite books of all time, but I agree that Evelyn didn’t experience a lot of growth. It was a bit sad (in many ways) but I kind of liked that it showed her as a flawed person - almost as a “here’s what NOT to do”. But the way it was written was so beautiful and cinematic. I’m looking forward to the mini series adaptation! 😌💘
I really appreciated Allison's point of view for sure. Never be afraid to share a negative review of a book! I liked the book in that I felt compelled to keep reading, but it was sometimes frustrating, too! I wish there was a bit of redemption, too. I think I enjoyed "Daisy Jones and the Six" the most by that author (I've read 4 of her books.) I actually felt like I was on tour with a rock group in the 70s, and there was definitely some growth in the characters. Gah! I wish I had a book club. One day when my 3 boys arent so little (they're 4, 2.5 and 4 months). Maybe you would consider an online book club, Alison? Lol 💕

when you froth hold wand towards the top push down to the bottom to heat the milk longer then bring it back to the top then tap the melt cup your frothing is in, let sit about 1 to 1.5 min to let froth settle than when poring hold back foam to pore SOME of the milk not a lot, then you'll have the froth left
I relate to how you want to be able to love others more and be kinder as children of God, I love that you shared this because I have been feeling the same and working on growing closer to God and prioritizing Him first daily! We use milkadamia at my coffee shop too but we use the orange red one. Also I notice when you steamed milk you kept it in one spot. I would recommend watching some videos to learn how to froth milk because you should let in some air for a few seconds then fully submerge it until the pitcher is too hot to hold and that’s when your milk is ready. You also want to get a spiral 🌀 going on while you are frothing the milk. Once you are done you want to tap the pitcher so all the big bubbles settle out and you want to swirl it before you pour it over the espresso. Hope it works out!

I cozied up on my patio today morning with a cup of hot coffee, my favorite snuggie and I love how refreshing it is as I sit and watch her content.
