Snow Leopards in Slow Motion

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species has recently reclassified snow leopards from "endangered" to "vulnerable," meaning they are still facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. According to the Snow Leopard Trust, two-thirds of snow leopard habitats are threatened by climate change. Conservation matters, and we celebrate the successful breeding of snow leopards in professional care like the new cubs at the L.A. Zoo, contributing to this threatened species.
