I love the trains! When I make mine I will set up the drill press to nail the coupling holes with only one measurement and stop blocks to enable running all of them one after the other. Make it as easy as possible for this old guy.
Appears to be a fun project. I look forward to viewing the other videos in your train building series. I'm an old guy but your teaching methods are great.
Really nice design and thoroughly explained, thanks. From 34:30 it looks like you have drilled the holes on the top rather than the bottom? Why would you not simply use slightly larger wheels, maybe an inch and a half (38mm), this would probably allow you to drill all the holes along the centre line of all the blocks, this would eliminate errors regarding top/bottom and may also look even better?
You mention the holes being drilled in the top of the block. I noticed when I was making the video that I had that block laying upside down. All the holes should be at the bottom of the block.
Sorry, I don't have plans for some of the toys I make. That's why I show how to make my toy in detail You will have to watch my videos to see where to buy the plans for the other's Thanks for watching
Nice job! Try drilling your holes that attach the cars before you cut the 1” sections out. If you drill from one side then flip the part and drill from the other on the other end, then cut your sections out you eliminate your tear out from drilling the holes. If that makes sense.

Hi. Thanks for watching my video. I see what you are saying, but we thought it would look better with the smaller wheels.

Hello, what size wheels did you use? Thank you

whats the tool you used on 20:09 to measure?
I'm just using a square to mark the lines
What is the length of the bases
It's in the video
When I'm at the chop saw
It's in the video
Thanks for taking the time to make this video!!! Choo... Choo...🛤
Any time!
Easy way to making holes is to make a jig out of cardboard with pinholes where the axles go through and just copy onto each base.

Is there a tutorial on how to make the wheels?
No
I buy all of my wheels
Estou gostando de seus projetos, se possível como conseguir cópias de plantas para realiza los aqui em Bauru-Sp- Brasil.

Wouldn’t it be better to make the thickness of the wheel bases 1 inch instead of 7/8 inch
I guess I just liked the look of 7/8"
But thanks for the tip
or can I have the pattern of this train thanks
I don't have a pattern
You will need to watch all 3 videos, parts 1-3
Sorry
Where is the make cercales???!!
I don't understand the question...
