Chris, at least you didn't have a dry run. You pick up a stick and bought it out of there. Have a great afternoon and hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I will catch you on the next one
Wanting to get into heavy hauling. I life in the south east like you. Been a heavy diesel mechanic for 20 years. So not worried about the mechanical side of things but would love to know more about the operation cost side of things and how you go about bidding on jobs.
I'll tell you what for the short time you've been driving and doing heavy hauling you do exceptionally well. I've watched a majority of your videos and I haven't seen many mistakes. I've been in the trucking industry since 1986 and I've done many different driving jobs heavy hauling being one of my favorites. Doing local moves around the Dallas Fort Worth area for many years I've seen all kinds of stupid mistakes. I now live in Pennsylvania where we do a lot of different types of trucking because of the gas industry and you're as good as any of my drivers. I appreciate your videos I like seeing how things are done in different areas. Keep up the good work.
Go ahead and slide that 5th wheel on ahead till the pin is 4 inches behind the front drive axle. I was just thru your neighborhood yesterday and just so you know my slide table is the same as yours.
There a alot of DOT videos on securement of equipment. What they look for and chain and binder ratings etc. I would rather learn from the law enforcement first and then modify those procedures that works for you and still be legal.

What I like about your channel is that you are humble and willing to share and learn things, I love your channel 👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks, I appreciate that 👊
Miscommunication is part of the job. At least you got something.

Only way you’re gonna get any young guy in that cab if it’s got a video game in it
What was the story with the low coolant level ?
Still waiting to hear!
So far they know it started at the EGR

I will look for them
Yeah common sense goes a lot further than DOT videos. Half of those guys don’t even know what the other half think is appropriate
I see/hear that you still haven’t greased that squeaking clutch pedal. Should have took some of that grease you did the 5th wheel with.
