Hawass is mad (rightfully so, whether hes a crook or not) because he loans egyptian artifacts to other museums.. but when he asks they loan egyptian artifacts back to egypt, they decline. Many of the artifacts stolen from egypt such as: Nefertitis Bust(stolen by german museum), the Egyptian zodiac(stolen by the french and now in the louvre), The Rosetta stone(stolen by the british). Items that need to come back to egypt to be restored. Items not legally purchased and exported from egypt illegally.
Whether he is a nasty corrupt person or not he is right, he loves egypt and the artifacts must be returned to egypt. No wonder he appears angry and pissed off all the time. he spends his life trying to restore egypt with forces against him such as: world renouned museums, terrorist organizations(isi), Thieves and looters and artifact pirates who are set on his removal. Not an easy job he has.
Shame on zahi hawass for spreading untold lies. I don't know if he's paid to do this but he should be removed from his position immediately. For goodness sake tell the truth.
