I bought a cheap powerbank at a street vendor stall in Manila. It charged fine but seemed to discharge very fast. I cracked the thing open and turned out only one 18650 cell in the thing was wired up - and the other cells inside were dead!

Might be nice to have but, I think I would rather buy a jump start pack with the same features plus a car jump starter.

The amount of things that I have bought from Lazada that have failed [some immediately and some after a few months], is off the charts. I just couldnt trust them in a SHTF situation. I bought a Bluetti powerbank 2 years ago, no problems thus far 👍

I too have had issues with some items. I balance the use case, and the price. I tend to find things on sale. I DO buy things from Amazon US a lot to make sure legit items. BUT to your point, I would say 1 out of 15 items are junk, cheap knock offs that just are almost a one use item. Thanks

@PHExpatPrepper On this same note.. I JUST msg a seller regarding a solar generator.. that does NOT have AC output to the output plugs.. Asking for working replacement, refund or store credit.

@@PHExpatPrepper One idea I had was to find a Chinese item with good reviews on Amazon US, and then find the same product on Lazada by visually comparing them. They might have a different name and colours etc but are essentially the same item, in theory. Found a couple but both items broke within a month! Maybe i was just unlucky. Ive always had a feeling that Philppines is given factory seconds/class B stuff that wouldnt sell in the West, as people dont complain much here

Correct, items that are 2nd rate hit the PH first for sure. I did buy my bluetti here .. But from the official store. Solid generator.

I receive 2 or 3 orders a day.., and when I do a return if needed, I just set that in the tool.. one of the regular delivery guys swings by picks it up and off it goes. I then get a refund. As I pays COD for everything, it will take a week or so, for it to be processed.
