    I am crying, this feels like home to me. I am in American born and raised but Ireland is my home, this island, this sea. I don’t know why.
    I also love Ireland and Japanese food, and I tell people who wanna go to Dublin and eat potatoes that something doesn’t feel right.❤
    The English kinda pushed Irish people to have that potato reputation ? I’m not a historian but I feel like it was a kind day because it’s time to share with the world the real Ireland again, before poverty.
    I’m nobody but I have a heart for Ireland.
    Éire í mo chroí❤

    If you need a semi-professional lyrical mezzo-soprano to sing to your seaweed too let me know 😂

    If some people can eat kelp, I think it can be used as animal feed as well,
    I think pig and chicken can eat everything.
    Why not using kelp to feed chicken or pig, the chicken and pig then convert it to protein that human nowadays are familiar with.

    Unfortunately kelp was the food of the poorest of the poor in the old days , and only now is it's potential as a renewable resource beginning to be appreciated . We need to be more open to the opportunities for new resources and need to look to the past to find the old ways that have been abandoned, to renew our economy and take advantage of what surrounds us.

    • @vanjosh7763
      @vanjosh7763 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are many seaweed farms in Japan which you can learn. It's not that difficult to grow them, and they're very sustainable. The only enemy of seaweeds is the sea urchins since they're like locusts for the seaweeds, which they eat a lot of seaweed. On the bright side, you can sell that sea urchin roe to the Asian market, and they are not cheap in the market.
      As I've seen in this video, they used the method in which they seeded a long line of rope with kelp seed. They collect the microscopic kelp seed and grow them in a nursery with the string, so the seeds can attach themselves on the long cord. Once they're mature enough, the long cord is set to the open ocean and let it grow. Certain seasons are ideal for growing and harvest time, mostly to avoid stormy seasons since it can damage the crops. The only things needed to worry when growing them are location, water temperature, seasonal weather, and sea urchins.
