There are so many things to take in on this video and I’m only at the 9:20 mark. Lemon and orange zest isn’t a separate ingredient, it’s literally the zest on a physical fruit. The egg cracker ???????? Measuring the flower and knocking the excess into the bowl?? Lol ????
My absolute favorite part is that "They didn't have lemon zest" - as if lemon zest is a separate ingredient, and not just the skin of a lemon or orange... LOL. Frank, just buy a lemon or an orange, lol.
First of all, not being able to find orange or lemon zest at a supermarket is fucking hilarious. And then 2 fucking cups of sugar in a doughball recipe, when it's supposed to be 2 tablespoons max. That thing was half flour and half sugar, that sugar just ignited into carbon in the oil, that's even too much for a baked sugar cookie.
grab a cooking thermometer from the store , make sure your oil is at the right temp before you put the dough in. Yes the dough needs to be cold, and next time premeasure all your stuff before you start the video, that way you can just dump them in the bowl from little premeasured cups. Merry Christmas Frank!
