    "There have been no deaths or injuries reported so far." Really?! The on bridge camera showed a Truck and car got blown to bits as the blast happened on the bridge and when the smoke cleared, there was damage to the bridge and the two vehicles were gone. As I recall Russia warned Ukraine that if Ukraine targeted the bridge (or anywhere within Russia) that Russia would target Kiev and Ukrainian infrastructure. Presently Russia is transitioning from a special military operations to war - including mobilization of an additional 300,000 troops, and deployment of trainloads of missile launchers, tanks, other armaments, and bombers to Ukraine. Whereas Russia's special military operation was limited to taking back areas within Ukraine where Ukrainians were killing / persecuting ethnic Russians, Russia's war doctrine has no such restraints. Ukraine should have cut a deal.

    The thing is, you don't necessarily need a great big hidden truck full of explosives. You do need a large liquid tank of an exothermic (a reaction that releases energy when it happens) liquid that can be detonated. Detonation is difficult to do, but lots of fun when you succeed .
    You have your typical burning fire, that cracks a concrete, expands a rebar, and generally does terrible things to either very tall buildings in New York or very strongly built bridges in Ukraine. But that's the simple, low tech less damage option .
    Detonation is when you essentially have a propagating wave front through whatever your chemical is, causing it to explode as the wave front passes through it. Certain things like nitroglycerin do that very, very easily. It's why we don't use straight nitroglycerin in just about any applied application anymore .
    Other high energy chemicals, for example diesel fuel, it's very difficult to do. In this application it could be practically impossible. Then there's others in between, like aviation gas, that can be detonated under the right conditions, like a torpedo exploding on the side of a ship. If you do get detonation you don't see a burning ship, it goes boom in a very spectacular way and either sinks almost immediately, or doesn't have any pieces really big enough to be considered a ship anymore. Those pieces proceed to immediately sink to the bottom of the ocean.
    So a fuel tanker truck with the right load, and a proper detonator, in the right temperature band and pressure, could become a very big bomb, like blow the span of a bridge to piece's size bomb. It may simply be something very high energy like diesel burning very hot and burning the concrete while causing the rebar to expand even more cracked itself loose of the concrete.
    It could also be a series of cascading events, and the truck may have been detonated right when they knew the train was opposite it. The Ukrainians have proven to be fairy a skilled at extracting this kind of information and schedule, the Russians have proven to be fairly abysmal in this conflict with security over operational issues like this, and we all know the United States and other European nations would never, ever share high resolution satellite images in real time. Nope none of that could happen.
    People also said the Ukrainians couldn't do any significant damage to the bridge.

      This bridge is on territory occupied by the Russians since 2014. First priority of Ukraine has been to fend off the Russian attempt to occupy the whole of their country. Now they are taking back their land piece by piece. Looks like when they target an area they first cut supply lines so when the Russians are starved of ammunition, equipment and food they often retire or offer minimal resistance. I think blowing up this bridge now is the sign that Ukraine is preparing to take back Crimea. Even if it was technically possible it made no strategic sense destroying it earlier.

  • @joedoe6444

    i say it was a missile strike that just missed the bridge to the right of the picture. here is my reasoning.
    click by click in slow motion; first for about 3 clicks before the screen turns white you see a bright light getting brighter with each click. at that point just before the screen turns all white you can see the truck has not caused the explosion because the light is not being emitted from it. so not a truck bomb. 6 clicks latter when the image comes back you see a fireball that is more intense on the right side of the bridge. it looks like the explosion happened either under the right-side traffic lanes, or was a missile exploding just to the right of the bridge. i don't think it was a direct hit from a missile on the bridge based on the lack of debris and the bridge lacks any torn up sections (visible, but maybe under water?) with rebar twisting out of it. if you look at the smoke, it is all drifting to the left of the picture in a uniform way also supporting my theory of the explosion being initiated from the right side or just under the righthand lanes. next coming out of the smoke you see debris that appears to be water coming into focus and it is all traveling from the right side of the bridge to the left like the center of the explosion was off to the right of the bridge and not from under it. you can also see what appears to be a glow under the water on the right of the bridge. modern torpedoes do not impact the ships they are targeted at, they explode under the bottom of the boat creating a huge upward blast wave to crack the hull and then it leaves a void in the water under the middle of the ship for a second, and the ship falls down into it with the bow and stern holding up the ends while the middle sags into the void ripping the weakened ship into two parts. my conclusion is this was a missile strike that just missed the bridge and detonated under the water causing the upward pressure wave that broke the bridge deck. this is why we seen the growing light before the explosion was seen and all the water/debris that came from the right of the bridge. if it would have been a boat, why would they detonate it before getting to the bridge? plus there would have been pieces of metal flying through the air from it breaking apart.

    It *could* just be an unfortunate accident and entirely coincidental that a freight train hauling fuel tanks happened to be right next to the truck that exploded - lots of Russian strategic objects have mysteriously caught fire in recent months.
    On the other hand, railway timetables exist so it is possible to calculate where a particular train would be in order to inflict maximum damage on both the road and rail bridges.

    • @pauly230678

    • @STeALtHsVidz
      @STeALtHsVidz ปีที่แล้ว +36

      Pretty sure even Russia don't advertise the running of fuel tankers on the rail timetable lol. It'll have been watched, possibly for weeks, then a concerted effort to hit both simultaneously. Not difficult setting off two charges but getting them there... genius. :)
