honestly i think Rose's (Doomsday), Amy's and Clara's are as sad...
River's is very sad too but only with time -- at first you don't understand, you re not close to her, but the further you see the stories, the sadder it gets...

Amy and Rory got to keep their memories and lived till old age together. (Did you watch the show, they didn’t die when the Angels touched them, they were sent into the past). Donnas memories of all the adventures she went on and lives she saved had to be erased.

@@millicenthealey1232 I had forgotten about this comment. Perhaps it came out wrong. I don't quite remember why I wrote that second sentence: perhaps I wanted it to feel dark, perhaps I felt that way for real. We might not have a purpose, we might not live forever, but that just means we should make the most of what we have.

This show keeps hurting my heart and I love it! At the end of the day, each ending on Doctor Who is bittersweet. Without each Doctor regenerating, we could never meet the next Doctor to fall in love with. Without each companion leaving, we couldn't meet the next companion to fall in love with. It's an endless cycle of love and loss.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was going to be a funny short of matt smith after he left doctor who.

I literally grew up with these guys... David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Karen Gillan, Jenna Coleman... and can I just say... it's been a wild ride but an absolute privilege. I feel like I've learnt so much from watching them, and they made me think in such a different way. Like I'm lost for words at how much their characters stay with me till this day.
Amy and Rory have the saddest deaths full stop. I cried for so long.

Martha Jones really did get out the best. She left before The Doctor got her killed. Her and Mickey’s lives got rather derailed, but all things considered, pretty good.

Doctor Who reminds me that even though your heart will break (loss, break ups, friendships lost) there will always be new love around the corner
Love. It never ends. It will last even after we're all gone. It overcomes even death. Makes us believe in the impossible, and sometimes we get to see it happen. I've suffered more because of love than any other thing in existence. And yet, it's brought more joy as well. I'll gladly suffer if it means I get to give a little bit more love out into the universe. The ones we love never really leave us. Even when our mind forgets, our heart never does. And the Doctor has more than one.

Whenever I see Donna I just feel so sad, it's like I can enjoy the episodes that she's in but it's always in the back of my mind that she doesn't remember any of it. Truly heartbreaking.

This was just a silly little old tv show and now it’s a fandom and now it has people across the world apart of this fandom and now this fandom gets ripped because characters have to end and we all hate endings and we all cry because there’s a thing called nostalgia and all of this may seem like a bad thing but being apart of this fandom...it’s called being a Whovian...and some people don’t even UNDERSTAND how BLOODY AMAZING being a Whovian is...
