Sir I was so confused about upper age limit and no of attempts....I passed class 12 in 2021...gave 2 attempts in 2023 and 2024..2025 gonna be 3rd attempt and 4th drop year wise....I took all three year for understanding this examination due to no guidance and not indulged in any coaching due to financial issue but this year I almost wrapped up everything and 200 percent sure that I will crack with a very good rank ..... Supreme court judgement about no upper age limit is valid as there are working professionals as well who might habe dropped their mbbs dream due to certain circumstances but now they have this golden chance of cracking neet and doing their dream study. However number of attempts should be tweaked. General - 8 attempts, OBC - 13 and SC/ST - 15.... If a with such rules, a 17 yr old General, OBC and SC/ST candidate can appear for 25,30 and 32 years. 30-32 should be ample age for belated start of mbbs. Some might say age is just a number and one can start mbbs at any age but reality is after a certain age, no profession becomes suitable for anyone. Also imagine someone starting mbbs at thier 40s, how long does one think they can go one in that field? India needs more doctors but proper learned and practiced doctors, not some half educated ones only. My opinion guys, please don't spread hate comments beneath... 😊😊
Not spreading any hate but i think attempt limit for general students should be the most because the cut off for general category is very high so students generally need more number of attempts to clear that . Don't give SC ST vile relaxation in everything just because they are SC ST .
@@Shruus good point. Reversing the attempt limits should also solve the issue. There are more general candidates than OBCs and SCs STs combined so they should be given more attempts. Rather fair everyone should be given 12-15 attempts atmost regardless their caste.

Did you not see JEE? In advanced general cutoff increased from 95 to 110 marks (increase by 25) and JEE advanced is known to have very high level questions. Topper scored 355/360 for the first time. Everywhere there is inflation

I will be taking full drop and this will be my 7th attempt in neet ug 2025. I have dropped my college. How can i be sure that there will be no attempt limit in neet 2025??? And you know its very risky to take partial drop and full drop both bcz in partial drop we can't study for neet properly. Its only possible if i take full drop which is again risky ! @Shruus because there is no official news that attempt limit will be there rather NMC has uplifted the age limit so that candidates can attempt this exam as many time as they want.

@raj49484 The same CJI allowed results to be published when there was no other diverting factor like grace marks. That sealed the deal. And know the circumstances, in 2015 there was no result and leak was in multiple states. In 2024 there is result and leak is among 35 students in Bihar. Massive difference.

Results are already coming for the 2nd time in 30th June. You think supreme court will tell NTA to conduct same exam for the 3rd time in 1 year?

@raj49484 The same CJI allowed results to be published when there was no other diverting factor like grace marks. That sealed the deal.
And know the circumstances, in 2015 there was no result and leak was in multiple states. In 2024 there is result and leak is among 35 students in Bihar. Massive difference.

Sc has said even if counseling is going on and they find evidence of leaks they have full powers to revert all the processes. Moreover in 2015 there was no mass internet but today there is amd we have better logistics today and evidences are poping up not only in bihar but also in gujrat and haryana etc. read your facts before coming here. The culprits are caught not only in bihar but also in gujrat go have a look moreover the suspects have burned their papers and formatted their fones in bihar and they surely after forensics are done more proofs will come out, now in bihar they are in process of interogating 11 new students including 7 girls in there, so get your facts right. Whole centre is getting sold out in guj@rat and youre saying that nothing is happening? Are you blind? Its showing in national news go have a look.
