Help Why does my columns don't are as one value? I have 3 columns : name, email, home address. It does not separate in the value in mapping and yes I did erase mapping. It's the left values that are as one ...
Thank you for the video. But when I import the contact with the email address it is updated in Outlook desktop version but is not updated in Outlook web version. How do I get the email addresses to show up in the Outlook 365 web version? Is there a sync option to sync desktop outlook with web version ?
Hi Thanks for this, but I have another challenge, two actually. First, my CSV file is being saved by Excel in the file format but its not converting into comma separated file when you open to review. Second How does one, if you have a large data sheet and want to categorise into groups and import into Outlook 365. Thanks
Easily understood, and I've done this 4 or 5 times. However; when I create a new email, and start to type in the persons email, it doesn't automatically populate the email address, based on valid email addresses in the contacts which was just imported. Thoughts?
Outlook generally populates if you have sent an email before to that person, but if you want to check after typing part of the address you can use keyboard shortcut CTRL+K then outlook should prompt you with the email address.
@@FindEasySolution I'm going to contact Microsoft today. This user probably has around 250 email addresses in windows live mail. I moved her over to Office 365 this weekend. I did an export from her windows live email addresses to a .csv file. I did import it successfully into Outlook, and they show up as contacts. When you create a new email non of them automatically fill in into the To: field. I can create an email if I know the persons address, and it remembers it, but if it's a new one, it won't auto fill it. Thanks
Even though I have saved the excel file as a .CSV outlook keeps saying "there was a problem importing the file - It appears that Outlook is all messed up and I cannot send group emails
Thanks for the excellent video. All contacts imported, but my email does not recognise any of them. When I go to write a new email and start to type person's name nothing! Any help would be appreciated.
Recognizing the name when you type will happen after you send an email to that person once. Click on "To" or "Cc" and search in your contacts downloaded and you can send the email.
to whom ho has only one row at outlook's mapping window like as 'name, email, cell number etc.' Open your .csv file in Word. Do you see millions of ; instead of , (comma) ? This is the reason that I personally found. Replace all ; marks with , because outlook doesn't recognize ; mark. Save your file and try to import again. My one worked well.
