Thank you for this word! I just lost my cat on Christmas day and I haven't been feeling myself, but this message touched my heart and needed to hear this message today! Thank you 🙏 God bless you and your ministry!!❤
I've been studying with you brother Jesse and sister Kathy for 21 years.😊 I thought this sermon had to be from some years ago. Even though it said "today." A rice bed is a large, four-poster bed with carved rice stalks on the posts that originated in 18th century North and South Carolina. Rice beds were designed for several purposes, including: Air circulation The high mattress frame and low headboard allowed for better air circulation in hot weather. Warmth In the winter, a canopy and bed skirts could be used to drape the bed for warmth. Symbol of wealth The carved images on the posts represented wealth and prosperity. Distinctive American furniture The form of the rice bed was based on English furniture, but adapted to suit American needs. The first documented rice bed was made in Charleston, South Carolina and commissioned by a wealthy plantation owner. The carvings on the bed depicted the cereal that made the owner his fortune. Rice beds are rare, and those in good condition with all original parts are highly sought after by collectors.
To God be the Glory, thank you brother Jessie and sister Kathy
