Hey Jerry, thanks for the tips! I plan to get a battery tender at HF next week but, being on the coast, still hope to get rides in from time to time on the KPV150. Any chance you might produce some lube pointers? Maybe front forks, wheel bearings, etc.?
@@JimE.1 Thank you, my garage will be about the same temperature as it is outside because it’s not insulated. But honestly it’s more about leaving your bike dormant for too long without riding it. If you leave your bike sit for more than 2-3 weeks at a time it will need a battery maintainer. It’s always a good idea to change the oil too if you plan on leaving it sit for a long period of time. If you ride year round I wouldn’t worry about doing the procedure that I do.
@@ChrisMoore-vv3qq I need to replace mine as well, I haven’t checked into it yet but I will be using an AGM battery most likely. When I do order one I can let you know which one if you like
@ I just ordered one Chris, I will make an install video and give all the information if it fits correctly this next weekend. If you need the information sooner and want to chance it just let me know.
Excellent advice. My KPX is put away until spring. All the best to you.
@@tk421upgrade3 Thank you, all the best to you as well!
Thanks for all your great videos. Would absolutely enjoy a shop renovation video or two. 👍
@@sriggle65 Your welcome, okay, I’ll see what I can do, thank you!
Stay warm, my friend. God bless!

Good information 👍
@@JerryHawk250 Thanks Jerry, I don’t care for winter but I guess the anticipation for spring riding makes it worth it 😁

@@davidmiller8446 Hello David and you’re welcome! I’ll see if I can include that on my winter projects, thanks
Excellent…
Question, how cold does your garage get?
Do I need to do this if mine stays about 40 degrees?
