The ten tribes were never lost, that's a myth. The bulk of them might have been taken, driven off, but there were many left in other places who remained. God always keeps a remnant. As for your questions: this channel is based in the Restoration, meaning the restoration that occurred through Joseph Smith, Jr. in 1830 in order to facilitate the gathering of Israel. We believe the gathering is here in North America. To 'pursue Zion' is to bring forth that "city set on a hill" mentioned in the Gospel account of Matthew, in order to be a light to the rest of the nations. Hope this helps!
