Nice and reliable car anyway. I like the two-tone colour inside the car. It does not matter what is the brand of a car. After all, the car is to transport you from point A to B.
Was thinking to buy the X50 earlier (about a year ago). But I bought a perodua Ativa instead, because of the spare parts issue with proton. Not sure if that issue has been resolved recently
correct..proton 1 of the tough car..before they have model Preve. a few total lost accident cases, but the driver still can step out. every brand has its own problem.
New car...smooth...especially from malacca to kl (vice versa), watch out the speed limits and road bullies. On the hiway, when they tailgate & flash lights, it means get out of my way (unlike in UK)😅.
Waalaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. In Malaysia, the pricing of insurance and takaful currently include data on driver as well. So if you're a good driver with no accident history, female, doesn't drive on the road too much, your motor insurance or takaful pricing will be lower comparatively to other drivers. Just like in UK nowadays. In the past the pricing is purely on motor tariff but nowadays it's based on actuarial pricing. Congrats on your new car, enjoy your car and happy driving. Cheers🙂
@@SairaHayati Blimey...I've just watched this vid, and I can still see the personal info on the car registration! Btw I'm an ex resident of Kingston upon Thames 👋
X50 geely+volvo. Features voice control windows/audio, auto parking, car tracking+pictures through phone, etc. Malaysian car brand actually high tax & imported car even higher. You may differ the tax with car price in free duty areas.
Thank you for all your efforts and the information you provide! Are you looking at Hira being homeschooled only - will you consider putting her into an International school? Out of curiosity, have you visited any of the schools yet? Difficult to figure out which ones are the better ones!😊
Proton or perodua both good car. Proton is a bit expensive while Perodua is affordable so many Malaysians love perodua because it's cheaper and have better fuel efficiency
Malaysia implemented a tax called excise duty for imported cars. The excise duty implemented is high. I believe it was implemented to help boost the local car industry.
Salam dear saira you are making a great contents very good information thank you for that I just have questions can you please make a video about this topic I heard in Malaysia because of tropical climate there’s lots of insects in the house like roach , ants , mosquitoes, bugs. Lizard it makes everyday life very difficult , I saw a video he was saying you can’t leave the food on the counter for 10 minutes ants coming Is this true ? waiting for your answer thank you
@nsaffini1975 Some people gave tips on using peppermint oil ..spray a little bit or use alcohol-ants don't like the smell. There is a type of basket with covers (extendable) mostly sold in Bali and can keep fruits and some food stuff from ants.
Malaysia is a family and children friendly country where you can find children's entertainment and playgrounds everywhere, many families even bring their kids outside at night to play in the park because it's cooler. But safety is still a must as bad people are everywhere but generally it's a safe country. Young foreign tourists usually compared it with Thailand for its lack of entertainment, while foreign tourists with kids usually praised it because it's more suitable to raise kids.
x50 wonderful comfy car. car aside... your daughter looks pretty bored but playful with the camera eh 🤣 . protons are all about the safety, ride comfot & handling & cost effective performance while perodua is all about reliability, fuel efficiency and low upkeep.
i Would like to share with you siera hayati your happiness that you own and buy such a beautiful big house in malaysia where your second home...you are most welcome and yet you are muslim........

Hi Saira. Trust your well. Can you let us all know if there any good/best facilities including schools for special need/Autistic childrens in Malaysia or where you're living currently pls........?
Long ago.. There this Old conspiracy gossip saying that the Old proton cars from abroad are made more thicker then the one that sell in Malaysia.. Basically Old proton cars are build like a tanks especially the one that are sold abroad.. meanwhile the Proton that are in Malaysia seem are made from sardines tins. Well.. I don't really know if this is true or not.. but the story goes like that.. (hearsays hearsays)
About that, tin sardines is Perodua until now the car is still tin sardine even fake the crash safety data but the mistake is not from Perodua but from Daihatsu/Toyota Japan itself. For Proton, most Proton cars have been using the HPF body system since the Preve, even the Waja using Volvo Body Structures. I think, it's just a rumours
Actually it's not gossip...i have tried both version(local and export) ...they are actually big different ... Maybe because the foreign market strict regulation so the car have to be made with much better specification... It was by chance in 97/98 asian financial crisis and recession proton have retracted his export model and sold it on the local market...people are furious when they know export version far more better than the local one...
Actually export models are not much different than the locals one except a few upgrades in esthetic. I used to drive Proton Iswara back in the end and sometimes some cars crashed unto mine in traffic lights, but there's no dent lol and it's a really sturdy and reliable car too
@@nutzhazeli used to work at workshop and been to alot of accident site... i've seen Toyota Vios crash into TNB concrete pole...the pole shatered and the car just suffer medium damage to the front while the driver unscratched...same kind of crash involving proton wira and the same kind of pole....the car almost split into 2 and the pole still intact...
can anyone answer my question can anyone make this move as a single person? She seems to be able to do it looking after everything on your own seems a little hard

Disagree. If you have driven in other countries, you will know that Malaysian drivers are pretty decent.

Malaysia has 100% import tax on cars. So the price is AT LEAST double. It gets worse for high CC engines you can get more than 100% import tax.
