Disney World's Haunted Mansion Secret Hallway, Boardwalk Resort, & Day after Dorian

- Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion has a secret that even I had never seen before, the secret "Servant's Entrance" hallway usually used for VIP guests to approach the entrance! WOW! We see Space Mountain in a new light AND ride Peter Pan's flight to Neverland before checking out our more-quiet-than-usual hotel, Disney's Boardwalk! All of this just the day after Hurricane Dorian chugged up along Florida's east coast. What looked like Doom & Gloom for a week beforehand ended up being a near miss for Walt Disney World, and a big win for guests who stayed, thanks to lighter crowds and stunning sunsets.

Next time you guys go to Boardwalk, they have a free Boardwalk tour on Saturday mornings at 9 am. It meets/starts in the Bellevue Lounge. We did it several years ago and it was so great!!

As patient as Allie is with you most of the time, I find it appropriate that you had to wait around patiently for her in the scooter. Lol.
I never realized this before, but you deserve more credit for how well you utilize the zoom on a DSLR. It’s really hard to do, especially when you’re on the run. Everything always looks so good!

I recently stayed at a villa at the boardwalk and I blew my mind the boardwalk has since become my favorite hotel to stay in Disney world

Space Mountain. The very first roller coaster I ever rode! I was terrified! When the ride was over, I got right back in line to ride it again!
The castle and even the hotels were built to withstand Category 5 hurricanes so Dorian did no damage to the structures. Heat rash is no joke, I got it on my first visit to FL back in 2011 in Vero Beach. Hope she's better now

I've had the Disney Rash many times, 2 weeks ago my left leg was covered and blood red. I've never had it be so painful that I cried, that seems strange. You will probably got it every time now.
We arrived at Walt Disney World on the 4th. We even went to Magic Kingdom that night. I wish we could have met you. Love your videos!!!

Loved the board walk we attended a Lovly character breakfast with repunzle and Flynn, Airel and Eric. Was amazing. I know how you feel I have a dairy allergy and it is so tuff to eat good food. Ur Walt Disney world is great. Aww get well soon ally :) we had a fabulous walk to Hollywood studios. Please try the beaches and cream :)

I completely agree on the Haunted Mansion at WDW vs DL. At DL in the graveyard scene I feel like I can see the ceiling and behind the show scenes kinda ruining the illusion. WDW it seems darker overall with better directional lighting and less light spill.

Love the Boardwalk resort, and stopping off at the Belle Vue Lounge for a drink after a long day is a must-do. All of the parks were unbelievably quiet that whole week thanks to Dorian. Everyone loves the Creepy Clown 🤡 pool! Actually, based on a creepy wooden roller coaster at Luna Park in Coney Island.

Fla Haunted Mansion is spaced out and spaced back more. Gives it more of an outdoor feel. Seems like it's a better show too.

So Justin, I'm a long time viewer, never time commenter. I love this and the previous video so much that I just felt the need to comment. It's so weird but you and the hotel, roaming around during the hurricane, it's just really comfy to watch. It's like your hyperactivity gets mellowed out by the fact that the hotel seems to be devoid of people. Anyway, it's really relaxing to watch. All the best to you and Ally. Keep doing what you do.
Hey, if you ever find Allie or anyone needs an ECV for more than one day, I strongly recommend calling Good Mobility Scooters, they have amazing customer service and the scooters work at much more reasonable speeds. Some of their models even have fans and cell phone holders.
They start at a week for the same price as three days of rentals in the park and you have it to use in your resort and Downtown Disney as well.
Boardwalk was my DVC home.
I have to say one of the most entertaining things in this vlog is Ally just cruising away from Justin...😂😂😂
So much fun!! I may stay there one day. Atlantic City is 90m from me but I'd rather stay at Disney. Best line of the video...."Ally needs her space!" hahahahaha
The Boardwalk Bakery does have a few Gluten Free desserts, or at least it did the last time I stayed there, by a company called OMG, the brownie is especially moist and tasty. I always make sure I get some of the OMG desserts whenever I am at the Disney parks because it is the only place I know that actually carries them.

Love that hotel! I have never seen it before and it reminds me of what they took away from DCA that supposedly was against Walt's ideals. Good to know it exists somewhere. Will definitely have to go sometime. Thanks for sharing it Justin.

Also you go trhought the Servant's Quarters when you take the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. My Mom and me did the tour on Oct 29th of last year. We did the 10 am tour. We went to Jungle Cruise and the Tour guide got us a boat for the whole tour group. Then took us through the Servant's Quarters of the Haunted Mansion, There is another secert before you enter the stretching room. If you can try to get a very close look at the frame around the picture above the fireplace.
