33:45 Ultra-V is a giant high-tech robot. He was first built by Japanese scientists to battle the rampaging monsters. However these scientists made a mistake of infusing Ultr-V with the alien fuel ⛽️. Once activated he became self-aware leaving the lab under his own control.
As an Ultra V main let me fill you in on my favorite combo. Square is L, Triangle is H. The combo is similar to the classic LLLHH combo (the one that ends in the bicycle kick), but it instead goes like this. LLLHLHH. It's basically a direct improvement over the former, and with a taunt buff it takes off half the health of the entire cast except for Agamo. The only slight downside is that in certain situations the ending bicycle kick can miss. But this is exceedingly rare. Also be careful not to mash H too fast the middle of the combo or Ultra V will just do the bicycle kick early and it'll be the same as LLLHH. Which still isn't a bad combo, but this is what I use because it deals more damage. Ultra V is seriously one of the best characters in the game. They're the "protagonist" type character, absolutely. Their downsides are mild and easy to work around and they have great applicability in a lot of situations. And friggin love their special. (Moved this to the video that more people are likely to watch)
I just love the combo where Ultra V activates his wings in rocket turbine mode, and sends him sprinting at high speed and power enough to take down any Monster.
As a kid I always thought his special was really bad, just pulls you in for a combo. But I guess what makes it good is cause his combos are the best in the game?
@@ForeskinTim It pulls the enemy in for a combo and stuns them so they can't block the first attack. Due to Ultra-V's hefty melee combo potential, he can really savage anyone he can get into melee range with. Unfortunately, he's also a glass cannon - he can dish it out, but can't take it very well. Enemies that can't be pulled will just take a small amount of damage, and enemies that can be pulled but not stunned, or enemies that are more dangerous than you in close combat are risky to use Ultra-V's special on. If you aren't ready to take advantage of the opening on the stunned enemy *right away* then you've just brought a dangerous close-combatant to exactly the range they want to be in order to maul you.

ultra v is probably based on astro guy from the king of the monsters and in this game he is a character that makes reference to Ultraman, but instead of being the hero of the game in his story it is revealed that he is a doctor who ended up turning into an insane crazy giant making him a kaiju too
It kind of sounds like it, but I'm not sure if he is actually speaking or if it's just gibberish. The WOTM Wiki says this about Robo-47's speech, "Robo-47's speech pattern appears to be a type of binary language. One sound clip sounds as if he is mentioning the general of the US military."

Yeah it is on easy. The game is set to easy by default and I didn't change it before recording the videos. Now looking back on it though, I wish I would have done my playthroughs on hard. It would have made for more interesting gameplay.
