Barbie Custom Doll Makeover Transformation (#4: Skipper)

For this Barbie makeover transformation Skipper is going blonde! I got this Barbie Skipper doll in my last thrift store haul so I decided to give her a simple makeover by rerooting and styling her hair & giving her a new outfit. All I want to know is what kind of crazy person would throw away a perfectly good Skipper who has articulated knees. As someone who loves articulation, I just don't understand why someone would get rid of a doll, a Skipper doll no less (which rarely have more than shoulders and hips), with articulation in the knees.
