Got my Shark yesterday, and ended up here on Chris channel, cause there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO Info on Lotmaxx' homepage (or SDcard) on how to install and set up the addons (so thanks Chris!)! That must change if they want to build up their reputation as a newcomer..

I sent mine back. Seized motor. Auto leveler mounted 180 degrees from what is shown.

Thanks! I found my Shark prints well *without* auto bed leveling, but I wanted to get it working with it enabled. I need more "squish" as you said and this helped me know how. So far I love the Shark!

Sent shark v2 back. Auto leveler was mounted from factory wrong. Motor that turns threaded rod was seized. Looked good to order.

hi Chris, I just got mine a couple days ago, got it up and working in part because of you! I am having trouble setting up the bi-color setup though, the instructions mention adding a resistor element, but I didn't get one with mine, and I have seen no youtube tutorials mention it either. Do you have any thoughts?

if you put some washer to shimm behind the bracket you gonna have enough clearance to go full size im curious :)
Looks like you can, it only needs about 1mm more to clear.
IMPORTANT! Factory default hings that needed fixing on my Shark so far: 1) bed was wobbly (adjusted the oblong nuts to fix), 2) 3D touch sensor screwing on the bracket was wobbly (very bad!), screwed it tight, 3) orange X-switch label collar was rubbing against the X-motor gear (pulled it back) and VERY IMPORTANT: 4) the aluminum cradle bracket angle is TOO HIGH by default, that WILL break off the 3D touch pin if the head is moved to X max when the control box is on the cradle! Bend it down by hand until it's below the bed!

Chris I see lots of places that say you can increase the print area from 235² to 250² is that possible with this machine? If so I'm assuming ABL would decrease that slightly?
I think you could increase it, but I am going to investigate moving the sensor a bit to see what we can do.

Hi Chris, I know this is an old video, but I'm trying to flash custom marlin software on the Shark, and I can't find the source code anywhere. M503 gives a dead link. I could try just vanilla marlin, but I have no idea what to do to get the touchscreen working, any thoughts?
That's always the hard part, this touch screen aren't all supported through the firmware. I gave my Shark away, so I'm not sure what board they used and how all that was configured.

How do I save the new info on the SD card?
You will need to mount the SD card on your computer and drag the changed files over.
Can I take off the sensor after auto bed Leveling setup is complete?
Yes, if you save your mesh.
Hi,have bought this printer,but can't autolevel it ...I put the paper under the head,and I can move it (little hard, like shown in videos),but when I want to print somthing the head is in air and the PLA don't stays on bed ...

Make sure your Z offset is getting updated. It might take a few tries to get it right.
@@ChrisRiley well i have tryed for 2 days, but with no success, after flashing without autolevel the print was perfect. Forgot to mention that the bl-touch is like 1cm under the printing head, shouldent they be equal?

It has throw and error. Try adjusting the set screw on top.
