The Philippines has started exporting fresh durian to China, as part of a $2-billion fruit export deal between the two countries. The first batch of about 28 tons of durian was sent to China via airfreight, while another 28 tons and 10 containers loaded with a total of 7.2 tons were transported via sea vessel.
