Love this chanel Shaun. You are always bringing something new. Speaking of new, I have just taken the plunge in Sept. And turned my stach into a stack of Sovs mixed dates. Wish I had done it years ago. c'est la vie!
Others recommend having the coins conserved when they go for grading because the OMP packaging may have a chemical reaction with the coin. I’m not a chemist, but he’s had MS68 - MS70’s when they return.
I’m Manx and Manx angels are my favorite coins easily, you have great ones in that collection. Pobjoy mint closed end of 2023 however the minting of the angels and also the Manx nobels were taken over by tower mint from 2016 and they have a 10 year minting contract.
Anything by the Perth Mint is Quality. It never ceases to amaze me why the endless tat that comes out of the Royal Mint is tolerated by us the consumer and more importantly by Senior Management in Llantrisant....they should be put on a PIP and then sacked if they don't up their game!!!
The bar is really nice. Sounds like your retirement is being delayed. It must be hard when you are being offered beautiful coins and a wee bit of profit
Flipping heck - that's a truck load. Pobjoy Angel's are lovely - pity they'd closed up shop December 2023. It's not true that Dereck Pobjoy's children weren't interested. Daughter of founder, Taya Pobjoy was MD since 1998. More likely what killed their business was losing Isle Of Man licence.
The U.S. Mint today needs to get on top of their game they're coins are nice but they suck as a mint. Just take a look at the Buffalo the rim is always wobbly. The Buffalo is really a Bison 🦬...U.S. Mint smh
Nice assortment of gold, the Dragon coin/bar is my favorite 🙆♂️.
Thanks 🙋🏻♂️

Some interesting bits and pieces there, lovely stack. The dragon bar would be my pick
It was the first to go - you have good taste :D
Thank you Shaun. I tried several times to reply to your question.
Ending the September of Shaun on an absolute swish.
These are my favorite but I enjoyed everything you put out this past month well done!!!

Agreed - I hsve had many many coins conserved after they have been poorly graded.
Cracking haul as always fella
Lovely batch this time round.
Golly, what a pile of goodies 🙂
I am pretty happy some wonderful pieces in there.
Agree that Australia and a select few others are kicking RM's arse when in comes to range and quality.
Yea they are top top coins
The Mexico 50 pesos is quite a desirable coin in some countries!
So its should be its a great coin.

@@shaunoliver1703is it correct that Chinese pandas Ozs are 30 grams ?
@@MrMarcol29 From 2016 onwards I believe they are - before they were on the troy ounce system.
Certainly plenty to keep us entertained, probably the Australian dog would have been my choice if I had one👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Its a fantastic design. I could wax lyrical on Australian coins.

The race of the people in charge is the cause. And majority of your country can't tell the bad quality because of the same reason above.

pobjoy mint closed last year. I think the owner retired and the children weren't interested in continuing the business.
Thank you - thats a real shame tbh
Nice
Thanks
