I really like how you guys provided information about the festival and tell people who don't know without your own thoughts to judge whether it's right or wrong. Because cultural differences exist in many areas and it's important to respect them. I like how loud you are shocked too.😅😅😅
We loved this experience!!! People are so brave and dedicated to the culture and tradition, something western world is lacking of unfrotunately. Shocking but beautiful experience this was for us ❣️
I have seen clips of this festival before. Very bizarre! It must have been amazing to see. Unfortunately so many visitors miss out on local culture. It's such a shame as my best memories of Thailand have been in more rural settings with local festivals. Such fun 🥳. I hate Chinese fire crackers. You did the right thing by keeping well away from the action. Too unpredictable as to where they are going to explode.😱 Phuket old town has some fine restored buildings. Can't remember if you have done a vlog on them yet. Would be nice to see. John 🤓
Hi John 🥰 it was sunch an amazing experience!!! We have done a vlog in Phuket town, couple of vlogs actually so you will definately see these beautiful buildings 😉 Phuket town is one of the best placea on the island 👌❤️👍

Hello 🥰 Thank you so much for all the Love you sharing 😍😍😍 We loved the experience, like you said shocking as we never seen anything like that before. We love Thai culture so it was amazing to learn something new about it. Have a lovely day 😍😍😍
This is the most 😵💫 thing we’ve ever seen! I mean I saw one nut job hit an ace on another axe into his mouth 😳! Haha 😂 I love how brave you both are trying new food too especially that one you brought Diggy buying that omelette thing and not knowing what was in it 🤢🥴 lol. Love you guys and loving watching these Thailand vids of yours 🎉
Thanks guys 😘 I love trying new food 😍 loo and love food in general lol This was crazy experience! Nothing we ever seen before. These people are so brave and dedicated to their culture, community and tradition, its something we dont see in the West so it was very interesting experience to us 🤯🤯🤯
The final night's procession (11th October) will be HUGE around Phuket Town. A face mask and earplugs over your face would be a good idea. It's like a warzone.
What I know is that they know where they can pierce it through the cheek and it'll be less blood, plus it heals amazingly quickly. The actual person who did it was in the interview and reveal it all. However, I will not mess with people's beliefs coz it is good in their own way. I respect their beliefs.
It was crazy experience Dann but we loved that we could be a part of it. We have never seen anything like it !!! For farangs its definatelly a culture shock 😉
It's technically chinese but this festival started in phuket in chinese community and it had spreaded out to another chinese community nearby @@danny_and_diggy
The vegetarian festival is 9 days 9 nights however some people add one more meal before the festival start to prepare themselves. Also not just don’t eat meat and smelly vegetables they observe the five religious precepts.
