We notice that when the torch moved on most of the crowd stayed put. They were there for Jin and would savour every moment. When else can they get that close to him?

For those who don't know Jin, they became Army that same day. That was their Day1 for sure! Jin was surprised too. He was away for about 2 years and didn't know what to expect, especially in another country, but Army did not disappoint! He was the biggest superstar, but the humblest as well. No diva complex at all. This was a proud moment for all of us! He represented all his country and the entire Army population worldwide.

LOVED everything Jin as a torch relayer! Especially his reaction when the crowd began singing and doing Super Tuna. He lost it but loved it. I was so proud of him. He kept denying that he deserved to be there because he's not an athlete but the organizers emphasized he was chosen because he represents the Olympic Spirit. 2nd most favorite moment is when the French had to hustle for more security since the largest crowd there were following Jin or waiting for him. Afterwards sweet Jin letting everyone know that the crowd support meant so much to him because he was super nervous but realizing he was surrounded by Army gave him "confidence"

It's not surprising that Jin was assigned to carry the torch through the most iconic part of Paris -- the square in front of the Louvre. Thank you for sharing this very special moment with us. Our astronaut was terrific and deserves nothing less than royal treatment. Oh, and I think BTS should be invited to perform at the opening or closing ceremonies of the summer Olympics in LA in 2028.
