Oh my gosh, my family has so many special memories of Yellowstone. This video made me remember all of those fun times and I would give anything to go back and do it all again with our sons. Every fall my husband and I would meet his dad for their annual fishing trip. The boys would do an annual trip in July with their dad and grandfather. My father in law passed three years ago this month. Still hard to go there without him.

It's crazy how several of the families that I follow that don't know each other and are from different states, all decided to do Yellowstone this month. The funniest thing (not for ya'll) is that EVERYONE talked about how bad the mosquitos were while waiting on Old Faithful. A few even missed it because they couldn't take being bit so much while waiting to see it go off. I wonder if they are that bad all summer.

Also driving for 30 hours is WILD to me!! I’m from Hawaii so the furthest location from me rn is an hour away. Comparing the two hurts my brain lol- AND we got just one driver the entire time!! This is definitely a successful boys trip 👌🏽 the sights are so gorgeous and endless, thank you for sharing it all with us ❤

Visually speaking , I was really impressed by the shots of the buffalos in the early morning fog..wow, that felt like out of a movie, almost surreal ! And then being so close to bears must have been really intense for all you ! And then the big hike at Glacier park was the icing on the cake! ☺❄🏞

I can't believe you guys were in that road closure on Rt 3 going into Billings, MT! I was like the second car from the front, so I had a front row view of the action; had I known you guys were in the jam, I so would have come back and introduced myself! I was on my way into Billings for a week stay, so I found out that the guy who was on the motorcycle and got hit by the truck, miraculously lived. Anyway, I rode out the closure as opposed to going back and detouring; turned out to be a good decision, even though I sat in 100 degree heat for almost 2 hours. Hope you guys made it home safely!
Oh my goodness!!! Wow! We couldn’t figure out what happened! So glad he is okay! That’s so wild. We just got out and played ball with the old man in the truck in front of us. Haha!

Wow what a nice father take his sons out to the nature. That is a good way to teach children to love nature instead of staying home and watch tv. This gentleman knows how to bring up his children in good way. He has a sweet wife who also did her best along with him to teach and love their children so that when they grow up they carry the legacy of their parents. Parents must learn from this family. I believe if parents have the same ethic as this couple our community will be less hostile and violence.
Talking about dudes wearing shorts to school in the winter, even when it's sub zero....I remember a time when girls were only allowed to wear dresses to school but they changed that in Virginia (where I went to school) like in 1973 or 74. On a snow day or if temps were below freezing on the morning walk to school, we could wear pants under a dress but had to remove them once we got to school and it had better be freezing or have snow on the ground or you'd get sent to the principal's office. 🤣 Your trip was amazing!! I had the absolute pleasure of going to Glacier National Park, and Montana in general for my brother's wedding. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever travel there, let alone be hiking up a mountain with my dad. Everything was just breath taking (also quite literally because nearing the top, the hike was nearly vertical). Near the bottom there were loads of families picking fresh huckleberries, and midway, it was so green and blue with all the trees, and the top---well, I have no shame in that I shed some tears having had experienced this glorious place that seemed to me to be one of the last relatively untouched places to experience true nature without a building or house for miles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had the absolute pleasure of going to Glacier National Park, and Montana in general for my brother's wedding. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever travel there, let alone be hiking up a mountain with my dad. Everything was just breath taking (also quite literally because nearing the top, the hike was nearly vertical). Near the bottom there were loads of families picking fresh huckleberries, and midway, it was so green and blue with all the trees, and the top---well, I have no shame in that I shed some tears having had experienced this glorious place that seemed to me to be one of the last relatively untouched places to experience true nature without a building or house for miles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
