The box was fun. I opened and got some pretty nice pulls. Mana crypt included. Traded it in for an ixalaan set booster box and already pulled a chalice of the void box tipper so im pretty pumped. The box is good i might sell the mox box though i have no use for the cards

As always love the content. I opened one of these and opened a Mana Crypt. I was hoping you got some fire too, sorry pulls weren't great. These were $250 on SLD. I'm not sure the public value though.
Can't wait to get mine. Just bought it for the mox box. Gonna sell the mystery box and probably open af pack every day for december with the 24 packs.

The bright lights you guys are seeing is stark link satellites in the sky. Tripped me out thinking it was aliens while on mushrooms a couple weeks ago

That Goblin Trenches rare that you pulled is missing the holo stamp at the bottom! Pretty cool misprint and can fetch a few bucks!
I got this big box as a gift and had a blast opening the packs and pulled a mana crypt along with a bunch of other good playables and the Sliverdrazi lol
It was interesting to watch your mystery box opening. Mine had a pair of each test play card, each back to back. That was very disappointing, but I did end up with a Mana Crypt.

That crazy shit you described is definitely Starlink, I got the same vibe seeing it the first time until my friend told me about it.
I was so happy with my box. I pulled Mana Crypt and Demonic Tutor. Def got my money
Magic's biggest strength and its intended design is also one of its big weaknesses. Magic was designed to be an "ever-changing" game. Dr. Garfield wanted it so that when you played a game that you would never know what to expect. In the beginning, there weren't many different cards, and even back then, there was a lot of variety in deck styles.
The long-lasting effect though of having an ever-changing pool of cards though is that no one really falls in love with any individual character or storyline in the game. The story is always changing and no one is really even paying attention to the story...they are only focusing on the playability of the cards and on which cards have the greatest value.
I've been a Fantastic Four fan since I was a kid. I love the characters and I am pretty allegiant to them. When they do come around to making a movie about them, odds are that I will go...even if the reviews are terrible. I read the old books often. I collect some of the memorabilia.
No one has feelings like this about anything in the Magic universe though. People aren't allegiant to the characters or stories at all.
The result: no one cares. And as soon as the game stops being fun, people will very easily turn their back on it. Some may stay allegiant just because of the money they have invested in it...some.
You just got done showing me hundreds of cards, almost none of which I recognized. I may have a small passing interest in using only a tiny handful of them.
The result: I have no desire to buy anything new from Magic. Nothing at all.
Suggestion: Get people to fall in love with your stories. Perhaps, you could make a movie or two. Perhaps you could publish an MTG comic book. I suggest though that you get a really good writer to do it though.
Uh yeah mtg getting good stories just isn't going to ever happen. As long as its been around they should be right up with Horus Heresy but they don't even hold a spark to Black Library and what they've done for 40k.

Demonic tutor and Sol ring were pulled of the reserve list when they adjusted the reserve list to only contain Rares I tought

I bought 2 of the secret lairs, I think its a damn good deal if you like cracking packs or drafting, not to mention the Mox box.
Kinda wish the Sol Ring and Arcane Signet were replaced with something else
More mox stuff like at least a Mox Amber

Bruh my festival in a box 5th pack in was a crypt, best birthday gift I ever gave myself and my expectations was a Rhystic study or D tutor.
I'm new . Started playing magic last week, and had my first game Monday night at my local comics store. What ive learned by watching 12+ hours of expensive booster openings is that if you want a card just buy the single. Loot boxes are not the way with over 27000 you'll never get that card you really want.

Fyi evolving wilds has been reprinted to oblivion and otawara borderless foil is great hit...and hasn't been reprinted yet aside from list reprints to my knowledge
