I wasn’t allowed to play in my childhood, so I don’t really know how. I still feel a sense of shame when I do things for the sake of fun instead of duty.
As someone who recently felt bad about my interests seeming to go back a few decades I feel extremely validated and respected :’) like there’s absolutely nothing strange about me wanting to collect the Polly pockets from my childhood to play with them! And me wanting a bunch of Nintendo DS games I would’ve loved as a kid but missed out on at the time seem just as fun and exciting to play with now. I think things that could’ve been helpful or impactful to my childhood that I didn’t get to have safely I should be able to enjoy now. And forever tbh. Why does pure joy have an expiration date in adulthood? It shouldn’t :) and doesn’t have to!!! I am autistic and have cptsd so nervous system regulation is sooo important and playing helps with that so much
@@RasazyPlusUzi CPTSD stands for complex post traumatic stress disorder and it behaves uniquely from PTSD as it comes from a result of a culmination of life altering traumatic events such as prolonged abuse, unexpected loss or death or disease. CPTSD often can cause a multiple of chronic health issues such as fibromyalgia sleep disorders and neurological damage. It’s something I struggle with daily but allowing myself the freedom to engage with things from my childhood that bring me pure innocent joy and sensory wonder with less shame helps. I love folks normalizing age regression because it can be an incredibly helpful tool in coping with losing years of your youth to *awful stuff* haha I hope this was informative 😊
I just want to say that I really appreciate you making these videos for us🥺💗🎀 They are super informative and helpful for all tinies! I can tell you work super hard on these!✨
I'm a regressor too. And I have a question. I'm trying to heal my inner child but I'm having trouble regressing. What can I do to get back into ageregre or what do I need to do in order to regress? Amd r there any rules I should know in order to regress properly
Ive been getting back into playing animal crossing or Kirby and trying really hard to get back in the mindset of comfort and softness, wearing more pink and bows. Im happy i found your channel. 💝
Honestly, feeling regression and regressing comes in different types of ways. Some people feel free when they feel little! Others have a foggy fuzzy feeling, but honestly, some people have different feelings when little :) And if u r struggling feeling little maybe try watching cartoons,drink/eat out of kid/baby dishes, and also eat kid/baby food! But if there is any other little things u use try using those!
I used to play SO MUCH with plushies, with plot, talking to myself, entire family and friend groups and dynamics, everything. I still remember the personalities I gave them. I really wanna go back to that time but it feels kinda weird to me because I haven’t touched these plushies in a good while and I’m just kinda nervous about it. I hope this video will help me. A few years back (I was 16-ish?) I also did stories with random objects and that caused me to suddenly have a bunch of new OC’s sooo that was cool :3
Does your play ever involve video games that center around your interests? ❤ I love video games they feel so immersive animal crossing new leaf is such a safe space for me

If you don't mind me asking, what is cptsd? It is totally fine if you feel uncomfortable with saying it.
