Paladins - I played Betty La Bomba for 12 hours, here are my thoughts.

I like how they made Betty's jiggle physics a priority over a polished reload animation

actual gameplay has usually played second fiddle when compared to inane fluff. I think that's just a "major game publisher" thing. Rather irritating.
They got their priorities straight.

her primary fire has to be one of the worst things in the whole game
it has the damage output of grover and reload speed of raum
and it feels just... awful. there is next to no kickback when you fire a shot, the shots arc awkwardly out of the barrel, the gun as a whole is just ugly.
I hate how you fire, then there's a delay before you even see your shot

I feel she’d be so much more fun if she didn’t feel so clunky, her primary fire desperately needs to feel better to press
Her primary damage is seriously under tuned for how difficult it is to land shots. I would suggest increasing the damage to a solid 1k and reducing the clip size to 4.
My thoughts:
Shooting weapon doesn't give me this feeling of actual weapon more like a nerf gun
U can't 1 vs 1 with other dps cuz even combat medic Pip will give u trouble.
Reload is sooo long, with at least DH 2 it feels pretty normal.
Ult is bad, buggy and u are stuck in animation when firing off rocket
I like that we got underpowered character rather than busted like previous ones
I honestly like Betty. As a character I think its fine and she is kinda fun. Her kit is also fine, I do like her Hail of Bombs and her Explosive Personality quite a lot they are fun to use. Her Cluster bomb does kinda feel like a worse seedling. Her primary i stilll think needs a bit of a damage boost like around 700-750 per direct hit. I dont think she is completely garbage as ssome other people think (honestly you are being really hyperbolic if you say she is completely trash) but she still does need improvement. She is a solid B tier in my opinion.
Maybe because players who don't know how to utilize her are pure garbage! Probably the same cheap ass players who like using Skye, Victor, Talus for easy, cheap "no skill" kills! 😒

i quit paladins over a year ago. this is my first video watching anything paladins related since then.. hopefully this may or may not get me back into the game
it wont cuz shes weak af. Cant 1v1 anybody. Her bombs are more like soft balls. even her ult is buggy and weak

I 100% hate this character. Every detail of her design is exactly the opposite of my taste, her gameplay is just shitty, not satisfying at all, and somehow going against her is also a pain. I just hate everything about her. I don't think she needs buffs or nerfs, she just needs to not exist. But to end on a positive note, your vids are as awesome as always Frosty!

I run her vertical and horizontal movements at level 4 and her heal on movement to five with her health card as a filler level 1and ammo on dog dealt at level 1, I've been tweaking here and there but I don't really know if I want to give up all the movement for extra health. Thoughts?

I run a lost realm lv 4, bouncing betty4, he will explode 3, a runaway lv 3 and a creator's palm lv 1, i do the bounce into enemy, firing a shotthen when i reach them i bounce and fire scatter fire then bounce fireand throw the bomb thrower on point to reset mobility
After getting Dredge...did the game really need another damn grenade launcher style character?!?!?!?!

If you mean the normal jumps, every character in paladins jumps higher if you are facing a wall, this is done so that you can climb obstacles easier but the maps don't need stairs everywhere.
If you mean Betty's movement ability, her last talent increases it's distance, though I'm not sure this translates to the height.
I get a bug where if I direct hit with her ult it does no damage if I'm riding it.

F is movement ability on PC, and Q is the ability (hail of bombs) on PC
I use the ammo regen card so I just reload when it's safe if I need to

I think her jumping talent needs a nerf or rework. her movement speed is cut down but her F covers so much ground and the cooldown is so short, the speed reduction isn't a big deal...
I legit think this champion is THE ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to group comps, mediocre when it comes to 1v1s but a great champion

Personally. I've genuinely not enjoyed a character as much as her. I can't put my finger on it, but she's just not enjoyable. Her primary weapon is so annoying to hear, and feels useless.

He did it with Buck a while ago so maybe he dont know you can do the same with her to

She is a worse version of bomb king or dredge, which isn't a good thing considering none of them are ever played. Betty gets killed so easy by flanks. They really needed to give her a card for dmg reduction or more health cards. Her abilities are to slow, and the reload speed is terribly slow.

She feels weak. Even when doing well she's more like pure area denial. Sometimes I think I'm fragging my heart out and end up with 9 kills all match. Not like I was dying but not like I was Killin either. Inferior buck/dredge/ evie etc. The other talents are too boring
I prefer the jump talent over the others honestly. That 300 dmg on the jump comes in handy lol. When you're reloading and the enemy is low. A card to increase the knock back on her jump would be devilish

She is honestly trash. Played her only after she came out. And. The 1 ability that makes her good. You never have when you need it and cripple or silence immediately makes her dead weight. Kinda regret playing that potato
