  • Did you know that former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida only entered the competition to fulfill a promise to a friend? For our season finale, host Nozibele Qamngana Mayaba quizzes Shudufhadzo on how getting a grip on her mental health literally helped her achieve her potential. We also so find out how experiences in Shudu's upbringing convinced her that raising awareness for mental health in South Africa has been life changing - not just for her, but also her peers. -----

Shudu is so well articulated and such a lovely woman . Those close to her are so blessed to have her in their lives . She deserved more than just Miss SA, she’s so real , authentic and goal oriented. I really wish her the best going forward in life 😘❤️

I'm in awe of the fact that God answered a prayer I had this morning through Shudufhadzo. There's guidance I needed, and you've just realigned my focus. Thank you.
    PS: She's well-spoken and informed. I love her ❤

I can relate on every level with all that she said. I'm an introvert myself. Not a morning person, been bullied, suffered anxiety, etc. Yep, I can relate. Thanks for this conversation!

This is what should be highlighted a lot. This is what @thatswhatshesaidvodcast is discussing,in amplifying women voices and advocating for mental health in women prioritising their health . It's sooo beautiful seeing Shudufadzo discuss her personal experiences with her journey . She is truly a beautiful woman inside out. I aspire to see her in person ❤

I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. Mental health is misunderstood and viewed as foreign especially on our African shores. It doesn't do us justice to shelf sensitive issues that affect our livelihood. The work place also contributes to debilitating mental health from toxic working environments... This was an absolutely educational conversation ❤❤❤❤

I also thrived through self-study. I wish the school system had more flexibility. Another take away from this is that "most of us have a survival mentality and not thriving mentality."
