It really bothers me that half the lyrics on this song say “safe heaven, new new world” and others say “say heaven, know no one”. I think it’s the latter of the two but can’t confirm either for the life of me.
@@dustingre8 I looked up photos of the liner notes from the CD. The lyrics printed there are "safe, heaven, new. I'll be waving." I guess he stretches out "new" into three syllables or something.
@@Shadowborg Yes, I’ve heard that it says that but I also saw a comment about Chino stating in an interview that they didn’t ask him for the lyrics so what’s on the cd is what they determined. Don’t know the validity of that but it’s enough to make me skeptical.

I always thought it was "say heaven, look above, I'll be waving goodbye."
@@Shadowborg it honestly sounds like, know no one to me but until Deftones themselves state what it actually says, it will be a mystery to me.
