Thank you for sharing your experience Raye. You have an interesting experiences. I love to played basketball in middle school and high school on my lunch break or physical education. I did tried basketball Summer camp before high school. My Summer camp was so embarrassing. I was scared when I ran the ball near the half court line as the bal lhandler and I was double team. I kinda froze and didn't know how to react. The second was passing the ball to a teammate and running around wanting the ball back. The third embarrassing thing was tripping and falling because an opponent was behind me. I walked backward without watching who was behind my back. The only cool thing I did was shooting a 3 with only my right hand from the 2 position on the court. Basketball high school tryouts was difficult. I didn't know what to expect, very difficult doing the drills for the first time, and I didn't know how to run any plays that the high school coach were expecting. I never tried basketball tryouts. Too hard for me after my first experience.

Yooo! I have some advice for you, I am currently off season training right now for Varsity (I’m in 11th grade) and the best way to go about it is to train at your closest hoop a lot. Push ups, weight training, cardio conditioning all of that. Reach out to the school coach and ask if they have off season workouts or scrimmages to attend and get the attention of the coaching staff

I take basketball seriously too, but my parents won't let me do stuff like go to the local rec or gym. Imm still try to find a way to get good though. Also, I'm just a bit scared to play, but confidence is key, and I'm gonna workout till I blackout.
Bro I 100% get what you mean by scared to play. I would practice and be pretty good but get the ball and freeze up and not know what to do. But once I started playing with confidence my whole game opened up to a new level
I’m at this point where I’m losing motivation to play basketball. I just see everyone surpassing me and it makes me want to quit. During praticed I stop putting in my 100%. My teammates don’t talk to me, and it’s hard. I’m slowly losing the love for basketball. But your shorts are always something I enjoy. So thank you, keep shooting! 😀
