It is about a 5 and a half hour drive to get to either Monument Valley or the Grand Canyon from Provo. The Grand Canyon has a north, south and west rim that people most commonly go to to visit the canyon. The west rim is accessed more by going through Las Vegas. That trip from Provo would be more like 7 hours. The North Rim is the closest to Provo at 5 and a half hours. The south rim is the most popular Grand Canyon destination and takes approximately 7 and half hours to drive from Provo.
@@scottgwalters thanks a lot for the reply I am planning to visit grand canyon and monument Valley but I im not sure if is easier to stay in Provo or Flagstaff to have these tour Thanks again
If it were me I’d stay in Flagstaff. You’d be pretty close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. I’m guessing an hour and a half or less away.. it’d be a couple hours to monument valley. Plus, Flagstaff is gorgeous. Flagstaff is also very close to Sedona. Sedona is beautiful and has some amazing hikes.
Enjoy your visit. September is a great time a year. The temperature has usually cooled off by then plus if it’s later in September you might get a chance to see some fall colors in flagstaff. Where are you coming from?
Good… Stay away then. You have California, Colorado, New York or even Florida to live as you please. Out of towners hate us until they need us. Cordially an LDS.
Love the drone footage team
Thanks so much.

Thanks for watching!

Sadly, to much LDS FOR MY TASTE.
Yep lots of LDS. They are the ones who did settle the area so not too surprising that their ancestors inhabit the state.
