Canada does Not need the US, frankly. It stands on its own. In many cases, Canada has better system than the US most especially in Healthcare coverage.
I am very thankful for the information on this TH-cam channel and others that opened my eyes to the need for second and third passports and multiple residencies. So many Americans don't even have a passport to leave the US. This is a tragedy. Keep the good content coming.
One point that this video misses is the strength of US citizenship with regard to jobs. The US job market is huge. You may be an entrepreneur, but your children may end up wanting to be professionals such as engineers or lawyers or doctors and the US job market for those individuals is among the best in the world. The EU is good, but linguistic barriers are significant to enjoy the benefits of the large job market. So I would definitely be willing to pay additional tax for the benefits of US citizenship.
Yeah, he is basically also arbitraging his American background, even after renouncing. USA and EU are still the place to be if your work is location dependent, try to live from a job like the locals do in some of those tax paradise. And the passports just face less scrutiny.
It’s interesting how you keep making videos encouraging Americans to renounce their citizenship for tax reasons just because you did. Look, if you don’t like America and want to leave, that’s fine-it’s your choice. But telling people to renounce their citizenship solely for tax reasons is misleading. Plenty of people in America understand the tax code and use it to their advantage. For example, I have an uncle who owns multiple companies and earns nine figures a year. Over the past 10 years, he’s paid between 1% and 3% in taxes, and for two of those years, he paid absolutely nothing-legally. I started studying the tax code a few years ago, and it’s mind-blowing what’s possible if you understand it. Why not be more transparent with your viewers? For those who love America and want to stay but reduce their taxes, teach them about the tax code and strategies to lower their tax burden. For those who dislike America and truly want to leave, offer your services to help them renounce and relocate. I started watching your videos a while back and almost decided to renounce during the time you were planning to. But after speaking with my uncle, he laughed and called me foolish for considering renouncing solely for tax reasons. Since then, I’ve learned a lot from him and started applying what I’ve learned. Today, at 24 years old, I earn about $300K annually-not a fortune, but decent-and I’ve legally paid just 5% in taxes over the past two years. This year, I expect to pay around 2%. You don’t have to be a millionaire to take advantage of the tax code. This is the kind of information you should be sharing with your viewers. If you truly dislike America, that’s fine-make that clear in your videos and target people who already want to leave. But don’t misinform people or push them to renounce citizenship just for tax reasons. Renouncing is permanent, and doing it solely to avoid taxes is short-sighted. There are smarter, legal ways to reduce taxes without giving up your citizenship.
That's good advice and I also go through the tax codes and I learned even matters which can the IRS even give you a refund instead of taking taxes from you.
The UK has implemented an online authorization system for visitors from every visa-free countries except Ireland, so this hasn't been implemented for Americans only.
Are there any videos of this type but for like, normal people? Like I'm only 19 years old, a college student, but these multiple citizenship type videos have been interesting me for a while now, but I notice almost all of them are marketed towards people making a specific income (usually like 500k a year or more)
There's little point for normal people - at best it's not a bad idea to get residency somewhere you like as a 'plan b' or a place to piss off to if things back home go sour, and that'll lead to another citizenship, but for average folks there's zero reason to get multiple citizenships...or even residencies.
The US isn't the only country that has citizenship based taxation. Eritrea also does this. France in now trying to get similar legislation passed and if successful, Spain will likely follow.
@@Minos-u3k Exactly. Besides if you're American, it is your identity. There's something inherently wrong with renouncing that but I understand some people doing it and I know that my thinking regarding that is more emotional than logical but using logic, you don't know what other countries will do in the future.
Buenos días Rafael. Did you get the Puerto Rican citizenship? Is it useful to reduce your time of residence outside of Spain? Can you still be a Puerto Rican citizen if you renounce your US citizenship? Can you make a video about this? Gracias!
Aren't you afraid that tensions between Serbia and Kosovo could lead to conflict and consequently sanctions that would affect those who obtained citizenship through investment?
@@noneofbusiness7739I didn’t watch the entire video, but I think he has Saint Kitts and Nevis, Estonia, Serbia, and Mexico. He keeps getting citizenship by exception. Mexico makes you renounce their citizenship if you apply for naturalization with another country. Yeah he probably doesn’t have time to naturalize, but it makes sense with the travel to the US, Canada, and Australia. Him looking Latin American sells the deal. I might be wrong, but it’s my guess
Thanks Rafael! How thorough is the US citizenship renunciation process. Do they check to see if you have foreign assets or if you have crypto accounts with foreign exchanges which might have been acquired with a second nationality prior to the renunciation?
USA IRS CLEARANCE for the exit tax of forty percent and any tax arrears anywhere in the USA, then it is necessary, provided that for FAMILY HEALTH promoting exercises there is never anything to compete with bringing you to return to the USA; and get caught up again in the tax net for staying more than thirty days a year!⛑️
Depends on your finances . 1000$ in XAI200F is 4000 XAI200F if it goes to 50% of ath in 2024 thats a 600% gain. If it goes equal to ath . Its a 1200% gain.
Hey,i started watching your channel about 6 weeks ago and i loved your view of XAI200F,so i bought 7k worth yesterday and with todays big spike,i am 15k in profit after 1 day,i will hold for 12+ months, thanks so much.
Another great video on citizenships! Thanks Rafael for making these

Dude, good job!, you're addicting! lol
I will be contacting you soon. Thank you for all you do.
How much do I need to spend to get a Malta 🇲🇹 passport?

Dude is from Puerto Rico. Not a real American anyway.
That's good advice and I also go through the tax codes and I learned even matters which can the IRS even give you a refund instead of taking taxes from you.
No he is 100% right. Outside the US, American citizenship is a burden. Nobody wants to do business with you. So it's better to get rid of it.
Great video.
What downsides do people need consider before renouncing? If anything. Thank you for the informative vi 🙏
I have no crypto - out at 0:56.

BS it's for ever foreigner outside the UK and Europe.

What citizenship’s do you have?

Very bad trend.
I'm sure all those Eritrean taxi drivers living in the US are paying their Eritrean taxes ... 🙂
Australia is on the move too. So if the cost of acquiring these citizenships is huge then might as well just keep the US citizenship.

He can't enter Puerto Rico without obtaining a US visa.
TH-cam needs to introduce keyword blocking/muting to keep off these scumbags posting shyt!
Aren't you afraid that tensions between Serbia and Kosovo could lead to conflict and consequently sanctions that would affect those who obtained citizenship through investment?
SOLE EXCLUSIVE citizenship in one country is risk of geographic and disruptive behaviour in the immediate borders regions!
Great video! Profited 30%! XAI79A and ADA look solid. SOL also tempting. Should I stick or diversify?
If I had money I'd totally get a second one xd
4! Nice, what's the fourth citizenship?
I bet it is Turkey. Even with all these passports, he still needs a visa to visit the USA, Canada, and Australia.

Mexico used to ask to renounce prior to the year 2000. Now you can have multiple citizenships
There is honestly no benefit to being an American citizen anymore.
💯

You got 4 citizenships now? You just mentioned 3 recently and now you at 4. Must be Turkey.

Customs love second passports. Now I see every form asks to identify if you have a second citizenship. Good 20 years ago, now not so much.
