Hate to say it. He just advocated for violating your right to privacy. That's why they have an issue with police accessing this data. When they track a phone, the reason there is an issue with how police access the data, is they would collect your data too if your phone pinged that tower, then have to rule you out of the suspect pool. Well they don't have a warrant for your data. You haven't done anything wrong. So the second they collect and look at it, it is an illegal search.

If schools don't do this I think they need to is to have a school assembly with the police that informs the students to explain the importance of school shootings. Many kids truly require help and I dont think they know what to do, what options are there. My employer use to have safety meetings every 3 months, they taught me CPR, and first aid, how to properly climb a ladder (am in telecom), and many more things. This is what schools should do for students, to explain just how serious threats are, what will happen to you.
