Hey Gary! Here to check this video out again, recently got a used Baja 5T and the dang MSD plug wire came off the coil itself. Hope if I screw it back on it will be fine!!
Great video 👏 us irish guys must like that green liked the grave digger in the video we're getting ready 2 start some monster jam RC stuff wish I could find a grave digger like that keep up the good work 👍✊👊💥
E mail your contact info, my Rovan Baja is coming tomorrow and I bought some new goodies lol. I want to pick your brains on upgrades. Keep those videos coming👍👍
Great job my friend I actually fitted one of these to my engine last week and I removed the coil which made it a lot easier to do I actually trimmed the white core on mine before I fitted it to the coil as it looked a bout 1/4 inch too long and was really floppy but when trimmed it was perfect
You did a great just job Gary. I watched it from start to finish it was very informative. You can reuse the grommet that holds the wire you just have to cut it open a little more. I’ll send you a picture of mine. Keep up the great work Gary looking forward to the next video 👍👍👍👍
I’m loving that green MSD wire Gary ! That grommet will work if you drill it out more but you can get away without it because it’s such a small opening up to really nothing to worry about it. Did you cut the boot shorter ? If you run the short NGK plugs and not the tall platinum spark plug you will need to shorten it .
Yeah this is a tedious job but would have been easier with the coil off and no need to snug if you use a little glue before you heat shrink the coil wire. That rubber grommet does fit if you use a dremel and sand it to size it will slide right over the wire and fit in the slot with a good fit all in all good install.
great install!! This is one thing I will consider doing to mine eventually too, how much was that kit btw? Great editing too, thats the tough part with these install and how-to vids right? do you think you will make the Kill Switch Install video, thats the one I've been waiting for.
I just trashed a new coil doing this. I can never install these unless the engine is heat cycled a bunch. Do they have JB weld or something holding them in?
Some people claim it gives a hotter better spark but I can tell you that is not tested it is really more of an aesthetic choice. It adds a little bit of weight and looks cool I hope that helps.
Nice I have been debating on whether or not to get the plug wires for my motors is there a big difference in the spark delivery in any way or is this mostly cosmetic for the motor
its one hour into New Years day 2020, and I'm watching this right now, Got plans, LOL.

@@hybrid32494 it should work unless it is damaged some where.

@@FoundryRC if it works and you have enough length to get it over the sparkplug I wouldn't replace it unless it bothers you!
Great video brotha 👍
Keep it up bro. Love it
You did wonderful brother
This will add around .25hp. Also you can upgrade to a racing spark plug to add around 4-5hp.
So what’s this wire suppose to give the motor that the original zenoah wire couldn’t?
Great tutorial, appreciate it! 👍
Great video Gary, I want to do this upgrade to my cars also. This tutorial might come in handy by then. 👍
Damn your fast brother. LOL. Great video.

ok, im looking forward to it. BTW, how is your Baja 5R, did you ever do any running vids on that?
I just trashed a new coil doing this. I can never install these unless the engine is heat cycled a bunch. Do they have JB weld or something holding them in?
Foundry RC yeah I saw the video from botajell and my obr reed case came with a coil that had the wire literally tear while I was spinning it out
Nice Vid!
What does the msd wire do, does it give hotter spark? I noticed my original zen boot got tested up so I might put a msd on there

@@FoundryRC thank you, I will be replacing my old boot with this one
Hey when you get some more foundry gear ill take a 2xl
