I've been searching for a noise recording app for years. All apps i found so far are for voice, so they filter out all the noise i WANT to record. It's so biased for voice that all my google searches give me only voice recorders even when i specify "for surrounding noise".

Do i want the sound recorder to record audio? to me it's obvious ..and why on earth is it asking that? ..unless.. it's talking about something else?? it doesn't mention permission...? jus seems bit odd to me..
does this work with apple? And once I finish with my recording how do I send the The whole audio to my friends or relatives so they can listen to my message ? Thank you
I want a very high quality stereo audio recording app for Nokia smartphones with 2 or 3 mics. App MUST be able to record ALL NATURAL sounds heard by the human ear i.e. NO so-called 'smart filtering' nonsense which only distords from the original actual audio. Why I'm particular is because I use the app to record vehicle engine sounds which must sound on playback 'as-is' as i don't like some apps I used which tried to cancel some part of the sound.

Also can turn off noise suppression & echo cancellation. So far this seems best for my requirements so considering buying the paid version to unlock the stereo recording etc. Note however my device is Nokia 8.3 with only 2 mics, so have not used this app on other phones so unknown outcomes if on another phone ?!

An audio recorder should be able to level the volume of the recording. Thats not possible here
The Dolby one is good for such things.
