I left the church because when I needed help I was told it was my problem and then a pastor’s wife lied about me and slandered me as a stalker. The church doesn’t help. They oppress and hurt.

So sorry to hear. Find a different church. Unfortunately, many are self-proclaimed Christians who are not truly born again. Lot of hypocrisy and fakes out there. Seek God and He will satisfy your needs and direct you in His time. God be with you ~
In accordance with this word and galatians 6:2, matthew 23:4, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind myself not being unequally yoked and have any common share with those creating burdens for self and others while doing nothing to improve oneself or the situation, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
I work with people that have left so-called churches because they mistakenly confessed their burdens to wolves in sheep's clothing. I ask and pray that we all be very humbled and fearful of God when Christ's sheep trust us with their life and death matters. I thank God that His children that have gone through hell baring their burdens to puffed up people of religion continue seeking Christ after such tragic events. Please know this: God will hold you responsible if you crucify any of these confessing souls. To those seeking a brother or sister to lean on. Seek a person that gladfully falls on their face to be your servant rather than master over you. The serpent knows it's a confessing heart that saves you. He can't help but reveal himself by taking power, control and authority over you rather than relinquishing it this time.

The world is imperfect , not everyone who goes to church isn't a good person ,look for another place don't give up have faith
